The Zojirushi NYC-36 Commercial Rice Cooker is built to handle high-volume cooking for restaurants, catering operations, and other commercial kitchens. Its durable stainless steel exterior offers a professional appearance and long-lasting performance, while the inner cooking pan features a commercial-grade nonstick coating for easy cleanup and reliable results.

Designed for efficiency and convenience, the NYC-36 automatically switches from cooking mode to keep-warm mode, keeping rice hot, fresh, and fluffy for hours. With an average keep-warm power consumption of just 52 watts, it delivers energy-efficient operation throughout service.

The cooker has a capacity of 40–80 cups of cooked rice (using 20 cups of uncooked rice) and is certified for commercial use with ETL Sanitation, UL, and NSF approvals.

Zojirushi rice cooker capacities are measured using 6-ounce cups of uncooked short-grain white rice.

The capacity of each Zojirushi rice cooker is stated by how many 6-ounce cups of raw short grain white rice it will hold. Rice will double or triple in volume as it cooks.
