There's no safer way to use hot water than with a Zojirushi instant hot water dispenser. "Unlock" button prevents accidental activation, and water is dispensed straight downward into your cup or other container in a gentle, steady stream. The risk of sloshing scalding hot water from open containers is eliminated.
Set at 175°, Zojirushi rates the 12 hour power consumption of the LFC40 at 420 cumulative watts, and the LFC50 at under 468 cumulative watts. Electric rates vary, but the LFC40 we use in the Pleasant Hill Grain kitchen keeps hot water at our fingertips all day for just six cents. Compared to the energy-wasteful method of stovetop heating, Zojirushi instant hot water dispensers save not only time, but energy and money too.
Capacities: 3.2 quarts for LFC30; 4.2 quarts for LFC40; 5.3 quarts for LFC50
All Zojirushi products are built in Zojirushi-owned factories.
Note: The Zojirushi LFC hot water dispenser line replaced the LCC line.\

Since traveling through Japan a decade ago, and seeing hot water dispensers in most hotel rooms, I realized how helpful it is to have hot water always 'at the ready'. We bought this same brand and similar model ten years ago and were now ready for our next one. It you make tea, instant coffee or just want hot water immediately, this is your product. It will save you time every time you want hot water. We would never live without a hot water dispenser and this model does a great job and is easy to you. Five stars all around.
