Zojirushi NS-TPC Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer (PFAS-Free)

Cooks flawless rice

The NS-TPC Micom rice cooker features a wide variety of menu settings including white/sushi, quick cooking, mixed, porridge, sweet, brown, cake and steam. The advanced "fuzzy logic" temperature control system prepares perfect rice every time. The easy to read LCD controller is fully programmable and may be set for delayed cooking. Optional quick cook cycle reduces cooking time. Includes easy to follow recipes. Programmable sound signal can be set to melody, beep or silent.

Free of PFAS

All surfaces that come into contact with food or beverages are free of PFAS (including PTFE and PFOA) as well as BPA. The nonstick coating is made of PEEK (polyether ether ketone). PEEK is highly durable, resists scratching, and is regarded as exceptionally safe because it doesn't emit toxic fumes or decompose at high temperatures, withstanding continuous heat up to 500° F., which is well beyond normal cooking temperatures. It’s also praised for its high resistance to food acids and not leaching harmful chemicals or microplastics into your meals.

Convenient Features

The LCD display includes clock and delay timer. Automatic reheating and keep-warm cycles keep rice fresh tasting up to 12 hours. Sturdy carrying handle and built-in retractable cord make it easy to carry unit to table to serve right from cooker. This rice cooker doubles as a steamer with a versatile Steam menu setting. The inner lid is detachable and washable.

Capacity

The NS-TPC10 has a capacity of 1 to 5.5 cups (pre-cooked volume) and the NS-TPC18 has a capacity of 1 to 10 cups (pre-cooked volume). The capacity of each Zojirushi rice cooker is measured in the approx. 6.1 fl. oz. / 180mL rice measuring cup, using raw short grain white rice. Rice will double or triple in volume as it cooks.

This product was manufactured in a Zojirushi factory that meets the highest standards set by Zojirushi.

Instruction manual is printed in English and French.
