The 3-cup Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer is ideal for singles and smaller families and features micro computerized Fuzzy logic technology to cook perfect rice every time. It can cook as little as 1/2-cup of rice and also bakes cakes. The quinoa menu setting cooks delicious white, red, black or rainbow quinoa.

Zojirushi NL BAC-05 model

Both the rice and oatmeal come out a little dry and sticky with the water line provided. It takes some playing around with the amount of water to get the consistency that you want. Maybe it would be better with larger amounts, I am only cooking for 2. I expected both to come out perfect for the cost of this. However, I do like that I can start the steel cut oats and go for a walk and it is done when I return. I just need to add some hot water to get the consistency right.
