Safe on All Cooktops
Cast iron cookware is safe to use on all cooking surfaces, including induction, and can also be used over open fires. Because of the magnetic qualities of cast iron, it heats quickly, dispersing and storing heat better than many other cookware materials. It also works well over high heat.
Sturdy Base
The base of each Skeppshult cookware piece is slightly concave, to allow the pan to rest level on your cooktop. If cookware is not concave it can warp when heated, making it wobble and disperse heat unevenly. Handle Materials
Handle options include cast-in iron handles, silicone wrapped cast iron rods, stainless steel, Swedish Beechwood, and Swedish Walnut wood. The cast iron, stainless steel and silicone handles are oven safe and all the options, excluding the cast-in handle, are removable. Removing the handles make the pans easier to store. In addition to the long handle on each pan, there is a small cast-in helper handle.

Cast Iron Peppermills & Spice Tools
Beechwood and cast iron pepper grinders and salt grinders are available in 7 and 10.5-inch sizes. The salt and pepper grinder each feature an adjustable ceramic grinding mechanism and cork lid with a cast iron cap attached to the cork. The cap on the salt mill has an "S" in the cast iron and the pepper cap has a "P" to label the grinder's contents.
The 6-inch tall pepper grinder with its heavy-duty cast iron grinding mechanism, and the coordinating 4.7-inch salt dispenser are a beautiful set with walnut wood tops and cast iron bodies.
