Häussler Stone Ovens
Häussler electric stone ovens, with their thick fire brick lining, are the result of German engineering combined with innovative features and handsome design. Their exceptional construction produces the baking results you crave—and expect—from a wood fired hearth oven, all without the toil of splitting wood or the bother of smoke!
The sleek design of Häussler’s Mono and Primus electric stone ovens make them perfect for setting on your countertop or island, or building directly into your cabinetry. Both come with a commercial warranty, so not only do they look stunning in a home kitchen they’re also a fantastic choice if you have a bakery business. The Mono features a built-in 14 hour electro-mechanical timer and 14 x 16 inch baking area that can handle up to 6.6 pounds of dough at once. The Primus is similar to the Mono in design and capabilities, and has an even more spacious 16 x 24 inch baking surface that’s ready to bake up to 11 pounds of dough.
The Häussler INO 2004 commercial electric stone oven is a free standing unit with 5.25 square feet of baking space and the 2004-2 is exactly the same as the 2004, but with double the baking space since one oven sits on top of the other. With the 2004-2 you’ll have the room to bake 20 pounds of dough at one time. Need even more baking space? The INO 2006, INO 2006-2 (double) and INO 2006-3 (triple) stone ovens are ready to tackle your catering and business needs. Built with the same attention to detail as their smaller counterparts, these free standing units have whopping 37 x 53 x 59 inch baking spaces and can easily handle 33 pounds of dough in each chamber!
Every Häussler model features a large window in the door to view your food through without having to open the oven.
The Mono, Primus, and INO models are built with elegant, lustrous stainless steel housing so you know they’ll look attractive on your counter or free-standing for years to come. Preheat time in all models is just 1.25 hours and the temperature can be set anywhere from 122 to 608 degrees F. For ovens with more than one chamber, each unit can be controlled separately which allows you more flexibility in your baking schedule.
Do you need to bake many loaves throughout the day? These units are designed for continuous baking. They only need twenty minutes between baking times to come back up to temperature again, then you’re good to go for your next batch of dough.
Häussler is serious about designing quality products and we’re proud to offer their line of ovens at Pleasant Hill Grain. We enjoy using a handsome Häussler Mono bread oven in our test kitchen!
Rofco Stone Ovens
Belgium has a long history of producing quality products, and quality is exactly what Rofco provides in their line of stone ovens. Their electric stone ovens feature stainless steel interior linings, high quality insulation and thick baking stones for rapid heat transfer. Dual controls for adjusting the heat at the top and bottom of the chamber allow you to set the temperature evenly throughout the oven.
Rofco electric stone bread ovens include steam vents as well as a viewing window and interior light, which allow you to see the baking progress without opening the door. Built vertically, Rofco’s design saves valuable kitchen space. Maximum temperature is 572 degrees F.
The Rofco B5 oven is a single-shelf unit. With a 11.8 x 18.9 inch baking shelf and with over 6 inches in baking height, it can handle nearly four and half pounds of dough. A shelf in the B20 unit shares the same baking space dimensions as the B5 model, but your total baking space is doubled because the B20 comes with two shelves. This oven, with its extra height, can handle over thirteen pounds of dough at once. The Rofco B40, our most popular stone bread oven, has spacious baking surfaces of 21.7 x 23.6 x 38.36 inches and over eight inches of baking height between each shelf. With its three shelves, the Rofco B40 electric stone bread oven is ready to take on over 26 pounds of dough. This is great choice for small commercial bakeries, farmer’s market baking or for the hungry crowd you’re hosting for a pizza party!
High quality at an affordable price make Rofco stone ovens excellent choices for your home bakery and pizza oven.
With Rofco ovens you have the option to add stainless steel steam trays to create artisan breads and pizza crusts with an exceptionally crispy crust and moist, chewy crumb. Most users bake directly on the stones, but alternatively, you can use blued-steel baking sheets and woven glass mats, as many bakers in in commercial kitchens do.
The Nesco roaster oven is a classic and versatile cooking appliance that continues to be a popular choice among home cooks. Exceptionally portable, this 18-quart roaster is ideal for tailgating, making a huge batch of chili on game day, taking to a potluck, and pulling out as an additional oven for big holiday meals. Some use their roaster oven as their main oven; others keep it on hand for times they need extra capacity.
With the Nesco roaster oven you can cook soups, bake cakes and pies, steam vegetables and even prepare the 22-pound Thanksgiving turkey with confidence. Built with Nesco’s Circle of Heat® construction, food is cooked from the sides of the unit, rather than the bottom—a unique design that results in exceptionally tender, moist food. The automatic temperature control keeps the heat where you set it, so no more babysitting dinner! The porcelain-coated pan is removable for easy cleanup. Nesco’s standards remain high, just as they were when your grandma shopped for her roaster oven years ago. Because of their standard of excellence, the Nesco brand is identified today as the source for durable, reliable and high performance kitchen appliances.
Covered rectangular or oval Granite Ware roaster ovens are another popular choice among home cooks, as they have been for generations. You’ll likely still find Granite Ware cookware items in your mother’s and grandmother’s kitchens because Granite Ware products are built to last. Thanks to the dark colored baked-on enamel coating and steel core, heat is efficiently absorbed and uniformly distributed throughout the pan, so the food inside is cooked and browned better than in many roasters. These roasters can be used in the oven or on gas or electric stovetops. The rectangular roaster holds up to 25 pounds of poultry or roast.
