The Zojirushi NS-ZCC Neuro Fuzzy® rice cookers feature a computerized "fuzzy logic" temperature control system for outstanding results with all kinds of rice including white, brown, sushi, sticky, fluffy and sweet varieties, and includes a porridge setting. Also, the Zojirushi ZCC series are the first electric rice cookers available in the U.S. to offer a setting for prewashed rice. Easy to read LCD controller is fully programmable and may be set for delayed cooking. Optional quick cook cycle reduces cooking time. Includes easy to follow recipes. Programmable melody or beep on/off indicator. The large digital display. Made in Japan, these are Zojirushi's best-selling rice cookers.

The Zojirushi's spherical nonstick pan design and heating system ensures even heating for perfectly cooked rice. Lock-tight sealing lid keeps rice moist. Durable commercial grade non-stick interior for super fast and easy cleanup. NEW dimpled inner lid design ensures that condensation drips uniformly over rice surface, and inner lid is detachable for washing; a useful feature.

Automatic reheating & keep-warm cycles keep rice fresh tasting up to 12 hours.

Sturdy carrying handle and retractable cord make it easy to carry unit to table to serve right from cooker.

Capacity: 1 to 5.5 cups (pre-cooked volume) for model -10; 1 to 10 cups (pre-cooked volume) for model -18.

Model number change: For all practical purposes, the NS-ZCC10 and NS-ZCC18 are the "original" NS-ZAC10 and NS-ZAC18... Zojirushi changed the color shade of these outstanding rice cookers slightly, but made no other substantive changes.

Cook's Illustrated recommends the Zojirushi neuro fuzzy rice cooker and warmer because it consistently produces excellent white, brown, and sushi rice. They also like that its timer and water line markings are easy to read and the removable inner lid cleans up quickly.

The capacity of each Zojirushi rice cooker is stated by how many 6-ounce cups of raw short grain white rice it will hold. Rice will double or triple in volume as it cooks.

Finally - No More Boiled-Over Pots on the Stove

Why did I wait so long to buy a rice cooker? Because the highly-rated Zojirushi Neuro Fuzzy cooker made in Japan is expensive. However, it is worth the money. Nobody can boil rice in a covered pot on the stove without boiling over a mess of gooey water into their stove burner. I got a new gas range with open burners, and that decided it for me. Perfect rice every time -- white or brown -- even steel-cut oats. This is miraculous. It cooks flawlessly without needing checking. It stops cooking and keeps your food warm. I love it and wish I had bought it years ago.

My family thought I lost my mind when I told them I ordered a $200 rice cooker. This rice cooker is amazing. It cooks the best tasting rice ever. I had a $20 rice cooker from Wal-mart and it’s no comparison to this one. It is pricey for a rice cooker, but I think it’s worth the investment since we eat rice once a week. Be sure to get this model because it’s made in Japan. Zojirushi makes great products and I’m confident this rice cooker will last a long time. Pleasant Hill Grain has the best customer service team. Give them a try and you won’t regret it.
