Grain Mills & Flakers

Grain Flakers

Fresh oatmeal, like everything freshly-made, tastes immeasurably better than processed and preserved flakes. A grain flaker quickly and easily prepares oat groats to make the most delicious breakfast cereal, as well as crushing a variety of other cereal grains. Your muesli will never be the same! Choose from manual or electric flakers, and we also offer units that combine a grain flaker mill with a flour mill that allows you to also grind flour or meal. Each of these grain flakers is built with the quality needed to last for many years. So in addition to delicious flavor and superior nutrition, you get outstanding value too. Commercial Flour Mills

Pleasant Hill Grain offers commercial stone burr flour mills with burr diameters ranging from 8" to 30". Meadows mills are made in the USA and feature burrs of domestic pink Balfour granite for a lifetime of service. Also called buhr mills, flour mills, wheat grinders and corn grinders, these machines have a 100% duty cycle so they'll run non-stop, all day. Large millstones produce an exceedingly fine grind, and texture is infinitely adjustable from flour to meal or cracked grain. Commercial steel burr mills are also available with the ability to grind wheat, corn, soybeans, herbs, seeds including flax and teff, spices, and materials as diverse as minerals, seashells and nuts, and products that are oily or wet.
