Alfa Nano Oven, Wood or Gas
The Italian-made Alfa Nano (previously called the Alfa One) is Alfa Forni's original portable pizza oven. This compact oven is quick to assemble, heats to 932° F in only 10 minutes, and bakes superb pizza in just 90 seconds! After cooking pizza at the oven's hottest temperature, you can use the oven's residual heat to bake other dishes as the oven cools down, including artisan breads, meat dishes, desserts, and more.
Do you need to move your pizza oven around your outdoor kitchen? The Alfa Nano weighs just 121 pounds, so it's manageable to move, especially with the optional base that includes four locking caster wheels.

Wood or Gas Power
The AlfaNano is available in either a wood-burning or gas-powered option.
Wood is the fuel of choice for those who love tradition, a smoky flavor, and appreciate the clean, renewable energy of wood. There’s great satisfaction in operating a wood-fired oven, from choosing your firewood to managing the temperature for perfectly baked pizza. Gas power is fast and practical, which makes it the best choice for people who don’t want to spend the extra time and attention that wood fires require. Gas powered ovens are also the best choice for those who live in an area where wood fires are restricted, such as some apartment neighborhoods.
Door Opening & Baking Surface
The Alfa Nano features a 15.1" wide door opening, which means it can accommodate pizzas up to 14" in diameter. The gas model has 2.1 sq. ft. (19.6" by 15.7") of baking surface while the wood-burning model has 2.6 sq. ft. (23.6" by 15.7") of baking surface. The Alfa Nano can bake up to 4 pounds of bread at once.
Optional Base
The Alfa Nano can be purchased with a base if you don't already have a good surface for placing the oven on. The base features four locking casters, so you can easily move your oven around your outdoor cooking space. A convenient cupboard allows for storage of your propane gas tank or firewood. The base for the Alfa One comes in either a black or copper finish. The oven itself has a beautiful copper finish.

Use & Care
For wood-fueled model: Place the wood basket in the center of the cooking chamber and place 3-4 logs in the basket that are 2-3" diameter, and light your fire. Once the wood has burned for about 10 minutes, move the basket to the left side of the oven and close the door for another 10 minutes. To keep a constant temperature, add small logs no more than 2" thick every 15 minutes. When you're finished cooking, close the door and let the fire burn out. Remove the ash when the oven is completely cool.
For gas and wood powered models: Between baking sessions scrub the oven floor with a brush to remove food residue and burnt flour; for a deeper cleaning, let the oven cool and use a damp cloth to wipe burnt food away.
