Campbell's Baguette Peel

Campbell's baguette peel is handmade out of brushed stainless steel. Besides using it to easily move ciabatta dough into the oven and back out, it's also handy for chopping the dough before shaping, and for scraping down your work surface. The smaller peel measures 4.62" wide by 15.75" long and the larger peel measures 4.62" x 23.25".

Note: Campbell's steel bakeware comes from the manufacturer with minor scuffs, like those shown in the photo here. These scuffs are normal and do not affect the use of the bakeware. However, if you want steel bakeware that's free of scuffs, we recommend you take a look at USA Pan nonstick aluminized steel bakeware.

Campbell's Scoring Lame

Campbell's scoring lame is made of stainless steel and is super lightweight due to its unique handle that was designed to reduce weight and improve grip. This scoring lame has a unique lock-in system which ensures the blade won't dislodge during scoring, but it's also quick and easy to change. This handsome, stainless steel, ergonomic lame will last a lifetime!

Razor blade is not included. Campbell recommends a double edge razor blade. We offer the 536.1 and the 436.1 Mure & Peyrot blades that fit Campbell's lame.

Mure & Peyrot Boulange Bread Dough Scoring Lame

Scoring your baguettes, boules and other artisan breads with a lame (pronounced “LAHM”) helps encourage better rising while proofing. The Mure & Peyrot Boulange lame is lightweight and ergonomically designed for both right and left-handed users.

The Mure & Peyrot 436.1 blade comes standard in the Boulange lame, and replacements are available here. The more durable 536.1 blade is sold separately and can be used in the Boulange as well. Blades are easy to change and are sharp on all four corners, which allows you to use a single blade in four positions, before you need to replace the blade. A removable protection cover for the blade is included.

Cook's Illustrated recommends the Mure & Peyrot Buolange lame. They commented on the unique handle saying it was the most secure and comfortable of all the lames they tested.

This has such a nice feel. It is solid without being too heavy and the built in "handle" makes it very easy to use. This will definitely up my baguette game.
