Tabletop Fruit Press 1.25 Gallon
Save a whopping $50 on the Tabletop Fruit Press today!
Excellent for apples or grapes, this extremely well-built 1.25 gallon press is great for smaller production quantities. The press includes an anti-rotation plate that can be screwed to your choice of surfaces; one handy approach is to screw the plate to a small sheet of plywood which can then easily be clamped to your table or other support. After the anti-rotation plate is fastened down, the main press assembly can be lifted out and replaced in a moment. After a pressing cycle, the stainless side rods flex apart at top to allow the assembly of screw yoke, forcing screw and pressing plate to be lifted out for removal of the spent apple pomace.
“I work with solid equipment in the oilfield and this press fits in that category. Impressive quality, solid build!”
– Patrick F., MS
The tabletop press is also perfect for making nut milk including almond milk, soy milk, rice milk and coconut milk, as well as squeezing honey from the comb.
The pressing basket measures 5-3/4" x 11-1/8" high and is constructed of heavy gauge (.035") polished stainless steel. The pressing plate is also stainless steel and it measures 5.5" diameter. The juice tray and the anti-rotation plate are made of heavy duty, food grade plastic. Overall height of the press with the pressing screw turned down is 15", and the base plate measures 7-3/4" x 7-3/4". Handle length is 9-3/4".
The press includes a fine-mesh, food-grade nylon pressing bag that contains mash even under very high pressure. A 5/8" x 8-3/4" drain tube attaches to the drain spout of the juice tray. A plastic sleeve is included, to be slipped over the outside of the pressing basket, for some foods that may otherwise squirt juice during pressing.
If you ever want to press only a very small quantity of your product at a time, you can do that with this press because when fully turned down, the pressing plate reaches all the way to the pan, leaving zero gap.
“I wish I had bought one last year. Saved me a lot of time. Works great, good choice.”
– Gene G., NC
It's important to keep the forcing screw well lubricated with food safe grease; this greatly reduces wear and turning effort, and dramatically increases maximum pressure and juice yield.
Mounting screws for the anti-rotation plate are not included.

By David K. in MD on 10/4/2017 - Verified BuyerIt is built sturdy but is difficult to hold while turning press. I should have purchased a heavier bigger model with more stability and easier turning ability.Moderator:
Actually, by using the provided socket plate (also referred to in the description as an anti-rotation plate), the press doesn't need to be held at all by the operator. The socket plate can be screwed to a table, countertop or bench, then the press is set into the plate with the feet of the press in the sockets of the plate. Many users screw the socket plate to a small piece of plywood or OSB. Then the board can be held to a table, countertop or bench with a couple of small c-clamps. This method doesn’t require making holes in any furniture and lets you easily use the press in any location you wish. With the press secured this way, turning is easy. By David D. in UT on 11/19/2016 - Verified BuyerIf you are juicing a small amount of fruit this works well. We used it for apples. The bolt at the base leaked. I may just need to be tightened but it wasn't enough to be a big deal.7 out of 7 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Gary S. in CA on 10/2/2018 - Verified BuyerWe purchased the tabletop fruit press to do our grapes, which we have a great abundance of. We got through 20-30 lbs with almost 2 ga of concord and table grape juice to show for our efforts. We still have 40-50 lbs yet to juice. The juicer works fine. One can only turn the handle so much before having to evacuate the crushed grapes/stems from the cylinder. Each empty requires cleaning of the cylinder to clear the ports for the next press. Cleaning/clearing is not arduous but takes a bit of time to do many pounds with 2-3 lbs going into the cylinder at any one time. Nevertheless it is fun and its great to see the rewards of the harvest. We're glad we purchased the more inexpensive version of the presses. We also have apples, pears, and peaches which we will try in the press at next years harvest. Considerably more prep in pressing those fruits as compared to grapes. All is well.........6 out of 6 people found this review helpful. Did you?

By Antonella G. in MD on 3/18/2017 - Verified BuyerI love my press! I salt and soak vegetables in vinegar, before preserving them in EVOO (extra virgin olive oil). Squeezing them by hand was so hard and time consuming... not anymore! :)2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you?
