Excellent for apples or grapes, this extremely well-built 1.25 gallon press is great for smaller production quantities. The press includes an anti-rotation plate that can be screwed to your choice of surfaces; one handy approach is to screw the plate to a small sheet of plywood which can then easily be clamped to your table or other support. After the anti-rotation plate is fastened down, the main press assembly can be lifted out and replaced in a moment. After a pressing cycle, the stainless side rods flex apart at top to allow the assembly of screw yoke, forcing screw and pressing plate to be lifted out for removal of the spent apple pomace.
The tabletop press is also perfect for making nut milk including almond milk, soy milk, rice milk and coconut milk, as well as squeezing honey from the comb.
The pressing basket measures 5-3/4" x 11-1/8" high and is constructed of heavy gauge (.035") polished stainless steel. The pressing plate is also stainless steel and it measures 5.5" diameter. The juice tray and the anti-rotation plate are made of heavy duty, food grade plastic. Overall height of the press with the pressing screw turned down is 15", and the base plate measures 7-3/4" x 7-3/4". Handle length is 9-3/4".
The press includes a fine-mesh, food-grade nylon pressing bag that contains mash even under very high pressure. A 5/8" x 8-3/4" drain tube attaches to the drain spout of the juice tray. A plastic sleeve is included, to be slipped over the outside of the pressing basket, for some foods that may otherwise squirt juice during pressing.
“Nice fruit press, good price, shipped fast. Thank you!”

If you ever want to press only a very small quantity of your product at a time, you can do that with this press because when fully turned down, the pressing plate reaches all the way to the pan, leaving zero gap.
It's important to keep the forcing screw well lubricated with food safe grease; this greatly reduces wear and turning effort, and dramatically increases maximum pressure and juice yield.
Mounting screws for the anti-rotation plate are not included.

By David K. in MD on 10/4/2017 - Verified BuyerIt is built sturdy but is difficult to hold while turning press. I should have purchased a heavier bigger model with more stability and easier turning ability.Moderator:
Actually, by using the provided socket plate (also referred to in the description as an anti-rotation plate), the press doesn't need to be held at all by the operator. The socket plate can be screwed to a table, countertop or bench, then the press is set into the plate with the feet of the press in the sockets of the plate. Many users screw the socket plate to a small piece of plywood or OSB. Then the board can be held to a table, countertop or bench with a couple of small c-clamps. This method doesn’t require making holes in any furniture and lets you easily use the press in any location you wish. With the press secured this way, turning is easy. By David D. in UT on 11/19/2016 - Verified BuyerIf you are juicing a small amount of fruit this works well. We used it for apples. The bolt at the base leaked. I may just need to be tightened but it wasn't enough to be a big deal.10 out of 10 people found this review helpful. Did you?

By Loa A. in WA on 5/1/2019 - Verified BuyerI purchased the press for apples, but just couldn't wait to try it out....so I purchased (not on sale... aagh) a bunch of tomatoes at the local store. I love the press! It was easy to understand, to put together, and to use! Even cleaning was easy. I do need to get a board to anchor it, but for a few tomatoes... and an excited little old lady... it was perfect! I can't quit talking about it to my prepper group, my senior group... or the kids at school where I work! It's marvelous!2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By HISAYO M. in UT on 10/12/2018 - Verified BuyerI lived in Japan for many years and learned to love and appreciate soy milk (tonyu). Living in the US we found the available soy milk had unnecessary ingredients in it and now make our own using the Tabletop Fruit Press, 1.25 gallon. Initially I imagined it would be much more difficult to clean especially the filter/bag which rinses completely clean in a minute. There were no clogged holes or leftover debris and the organic, pure soy milk surpasses everything on the market! We really love this press, an enjoyable daily activity. Also, the instructions were easy to follow, very simple to use, I recommend it.2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Theresa C. in FL on 7/7/2018 - Verified BuyerI wanted to get something that I can use for soy milk that didn't involve a single task device like a lot of the all in one soy milk makers. This press is the perfect size for small batches, and super easy to clean and maintain. Been eyeing this for a while but had to move to a bigger place to justify having this on the countertop. A bit of work is needed to screw the base into a plywood, but afterwards, installing and using it is very easy.2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you?
