Mure & Peyrot Lame Blades #536.1, Pkg. of 10
Mure & Peyrot #536.1 lame blades are stainless steel and coated with teflon which makes them more durable than the #436.1 blades that come with the Mure & Peyrot lames. This blade can be used in Adour and Boulange lames. Ten blades come in a package. To preserve sharpness, be sure to clean and also dry the blade before putting it away.
Please note that Mure & Peyrot sometimes ships blades in packaging with the Mure & Peyrot packaging, and at other times with ZAZA packaging, explaining that the quality is the same either way.
When purchased alone, this item ships by First Class U.S. Mail for $8.00 shipping/handling. Please see the Shipping Tab above for details.

The stainless Teflon blades are more than regular blades and don’t rust like ordinary blades. A great marriage to the lame holder you also carry. They're more than #4361 and do a better job. In the early days of baking bread I used to score with a knife, this system is great. Thank you for carrying it. Not real easy to find a lame at this cost.
I waited many years to get this baking assistant. I have used plain razor blades, and all kinds of knives to slash the bread before it goes into the oven. I wonder now why I waited so long to get the proper tool to do this job. I am happy with my purchase. Your customer service is wonderful.
I was expecting a French product, but these seem to be just plain straight razor blades I could purchase at the drugstore... I think I overpaid for them in that case!
I tried a pack of the bargain blades from the big box site but quickly came back to the Mure & Peyrot blades. They are always nice and sharp with no drag or snags when scoring the bread.
Best quality as always from Pleasant Hill Grain.
So glad I could pick up a box of blades along with other things I needed. I had no idea how difficult it would be to find these kinds of razor blades - local stores just don't carry them.
Allways great service
UPDATE: I finally received the blades today after waiting so long for them. And they were NOT backordered. And they sent me ZAZA blades? What is that? Never heard of them before and does NOT appear to be genuine Mure & Peyrot so I'm not sure what's going on here. Can't wait to get an explanation for this.
These blades are sharp, simple and sturdy. It's possible to install them in your "lame" without slashing yourself but one must be careful. When used as intended, my slow-rise sourdough loaves take on a whole new persona. Thanks PHG for offering these refills.
Why I waited so long to purchase the Mure & Peyrot Lame Handle & Blades is a mystery to me.... Wonderful product, easily making my creations look like a Professional Artisan has produced them!!
