Campbell's Scoring Lame

Campbell's scoring lame is made of stainless steel and is super lightweight due to its unique handle that was designed to reduce weight and improve grip. This scoring lame has a unique lock-in system which ensures the blade won't dislodge during scoring, but it's also quick and easy to change. This handsome, stainless steel, ergonomic lame will last a lifetime!

Razor blade is not included. Campbell recommends a double edge razor blade. We offer the 536.1 and the 436.1 Mure & Peyrot blades that fit Campbell's lame.

Mure & Peyrot #536.1 lame blades are stainless steel and coated with teflon which makes them more durable than the #436.1 blades that come with the Mure & Peyrot lames. This blade can be used in Adour and Boulange lames. Ten blades come in a package. To preserve sharpness, be sure to clean and also dry the blade before putting it away.

Please note that Mure & Peyrot sometimes ships blades in packaging with the Mure & Peyrot packaging, and at other times with ZAZA packaging, explaining that the quality is the same either way.

I used Campbell's Lame at a bread baking workshop I went to recently. Solid construction per usual for Campbell's products. I really like the weight of this and the simple design. It does the job well.

Got the lame and it is great in terms of ease of putting in blade. Nice solid tool. If I could change one thing I would make it a bit longer. I have rather long hands and could use a bit more length. Not enough of an issue to knock a star off.
