Ankarsrum Double Beater Stainless Steel Bowl
The stainless steel whisk bowl is compatible with the Ankarsrum Original mixer. The bowl also fits older Electrolux Assistent, Verona Assistent, and Magic Mill DLX mixers.
The manufacturer states a capacity of 4 qt. (3.7L), but the volume as measured to the rim of the bowl, which is the common industry standard of measure, is actually 6 quarts; we've found that practical usable capacity is 4.5 qts.

The Ankarsrum Premium Beater Sets combo includes a beater housing, a pair of double beater whisks (also called balloon whisks), and a pair of single-wire cake beater whisks (also called cookie beaters). The closed beater housing design eliminates loose parts or gearwheels that require assembly. Simply push the
double beater whisks or cake whisks into place and you’re ready to go. The oversized double beater whisks cover a larger area
of the bowl, delivering faster and more efficient results. The cake whisks feature sturdy, 3 mm thick stainless
steel wire and up to two pounds of pie or cookie dough.
The beater housing features a solid, closed construction with an optimized internal gear ratio. The housing cover is
fiberglass-reinforced plastic, and the bottom plate is chrome-plated die-cast zinc for easy cleaning and long-lasting
durability.

I've used this bowl a few times already with my Ankarsrum, and it's phenomenal! I will be honest, it's not 100% necessary, as the plastic bowl that the Ank comes with does a stellar job already, but the machine looks incredible with this stainless steel mixing bowl. And also having the ability to mix two things 'at the same time' is pretty nice too, and really why I got this second bowl. Just make sure to remove the little rubber o-ring/gasket from the bottom before putting the bowl into the dishwasher!

I bought an Ankarsrum after reading review after review singing its praises, especially for bread baking, which is the main reason I use a stand mixer. My only disappointment has been in the quality of the Beater Bowl and the plastic gears that drive the beaters. THIS is closer to what I had expected from Ankarsrum. NOW- could they PLEASE upgrade those gears? Couldn't THOSE be made of metal as well????? I made the mistake of trying to make nougat, far too heavy a task for those plastic gears, and Ankarsrum couldn't hack it- wrecked those gears. My old Kitchenaid would not have had a problem
Ordered this for my wife for her Ankarsrum after I accidentally melted the plastic version in the dishwasher. Wish they'd just charge a little more and include this from the get go. Much higher quality.
I prefer this bowl compared to the standard poly one because I do a lot of Swiss and Italian buttercream and also merengues that use hot sugar with this bowl I can put it right over a double boiler. I just remove the rubber gasket on the bottom and I’m ready to go.
The stainless steel beater bowl took forever to return to being in-stock. The wait is worth it. The bowl is an excellent addition to the already awesome Ank. Another benefit is having an additional beater bowl. You can't go wrong with stainless steel.

This is replacing my plastic bowl which developed a crack at the bottom by the center shaft. Was mixing an all important batch of Nestle's Toll House Cookies when one of the single wire beaters wedged with a hunk of walnut and it caused a failed attempt by the bowl to twist causing the crack. No fear of that happening now with this bowl. Just hope that if that jam happens again that it doesn't take out the wire beater. I now though, can see the importance of the lighter weight wire beaters and their companion shaft. I would rather replace the wire beaters than risk a jam damaging the actual mixer itself.
Love this bowl for whipping cream, egg whites. Easy to clean.
I ordered this bowl in December 2022 and it took until May 2023 to get here, but it was worth the wait! Substantial, like all the other Ankarsrum products. Side note: The instructions said to remove the rubber ring from the bottom of the bowl before putting it in the dishwasher. There was no rubber ring. But no worries--it works just fine without it. I am assuming the ring's function is to keep the bowl secure on the counter top.
Love the stainless steel bowl. I had no problems with the plastic bowl but the steel bowl is sturdy, easy to clean and very durable. Worth the money.
I like my mixer very much but the plastic bowl made me a bit nervous as I'm accustomed to stainless. I am very pleased with this purchase. It's very attractive, highly functional and gives me more confidence as my skills grow.
