WonderMix Revolution Mixer
The WonderMix Revolution is an exciting new entry in the field of heavy duty stand mixers. Its German-engineered design has the strength to mix the heaviest batters and the versatility to perform the full range of tasks you need your primary food prep machine to handle.
The WonderMix Revolution is made by the manufacturer of the popular WonderMill electric grain mill. Its design is based on an existing successful German design, with upgrades to the motor and transmission. At 900 watts, the WonderMix Revolution now has the most power of any German mixer design. This power is connected by direct drive to the blender, providing extremely powerful blending results. The motor has three speeds as well as a pulse feature.
Connecting the motor’s 900 watts of power to the bowl drive is a drive train of exceptionally heavy duty gears in a sealed metal enclosure. Permanently lubricated, the gears are made of an advanced polymer material for extremely long life even under hard and steady use. The transmission is the Achilles heel of many mixers; in the WonderMix Revolution it’s a strong point.
The Tru-Mix dough hook mixes and kneads quickly and thoroughly. The mixing bowl’s 5.5 quart capacity allows you to mix dough for up to six loaves of bread (or less if you wish), and the Tru-Mix dough hook takes only about five minutes to completely knead even a full load of dough. The circulatory kneading of the WonderMix Revolution does an excellent job of developing gluten, so your dough will rise properly and your baked goods will have the light and uniform texture you want. A comfortable handle gives you a secure grip on the bowl, and the bowl locks positively on the mixer base. The dough divider works together with the Tru-Mix dough hook, creating a cross-action that mixes and kneads quickly and thoroughly.
“The service I received from Pleasant Hill Grain is just outstanding. This company is a go-to for anybody new to baking and bread making as the staff are very knowledgeable and service oriented, unlike some larger online retailers.”

Soft silicone feet provide a good grip on your counter, and combined with the proportions of the mixer bowl, let you mix and knead small or large batches without having the mixer “walk” on your countertop. The bowl’s center drive shaft separates from the bowl, making both shaft and bowl easy to clean up (and both are dishwasher safe.)
The WonderMix Revolution has no overhead gearbox, because it's powered from below—a design with several advantages. The wide base of the machine provides space to transmit motor power to the bowl using extra large, high strength gears. The gears in overhead-driven machines are small and prone to breaking, they transmit torque inefficiently, and the heat in their tight enclosure leads to early failure when worked hard. In contrast to top heavy overhead-drive machines, the bottom drive design gives the WonderMix a very low center of gravity that makes it very easy and comfortable to handle. Bottom drive also provides full bowl access. You see everything that's happening in the bowl, and adding ingredients is super easy.
The BPA-free bowl of the WonderMix Revolution is shaped like a large bundt cake form, a design that excels at both mixing and whipping. Twin whips mount on top of the narrow center column, driven from below, and they spin rapidly as they rotate. The bowl's shape ensures that your ingredients are mixed perfectly, as lumps can't escape the whisks. Whip as little as two egg whites or half a cup of cream!
Does your family cook gluten-free? The WonderMix Revolution provides the control you need to make delicious gluten-free recipes, tailored specifically to your family's needs. Nothing approaches the tastiness of homemade and fresh!
The deluxe package includes the mixing bowl with drive shaft, splash ring and lid, Tru-Mix dough hook, dough divider, French whips, Turbo blender and the cookie whips. If you need a replacement of any of these items, see our WonderMix brand page.
Warranty: 1 year overall plus 3 years motor/transmission parts; lifetime mixer bowl, dough hook, drive shaft and blender bowl.

By Virginia P. in UT on 10/28/2016 - Verified BuyerI saw a comparison between a Kitchen Aid mixer and the WonderMix. I've always been happy with my Kitchen Aid bit when I watched that video, I was impressed that the WonderMix did not throw flour all over the place when turned on. I bought one since my other machine is starting to go out and I'm super happy with it. It's very powerful and it's quicker at mixing things up without a lot of mess. I love having the blender as part of the machine too.32 out of 32 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Janet H. in WI on 8/2/2016 - Verified BuyerI'm a breadmaker. Been making bread every other week for over 40 yrs. After my 38 yr. old Oster died, I purchased a KitchenAid. The KitchenAid may be great for some things, but it's not a bread mixer. Love the easy access bowl of the WonderMix. Flour stays in the bowl, doesn't shoot all over the place. Can now make more loaves at a time. Also tried a double batch of cookies. Perfect. All that and at a reasonable price.22 out of 22 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Sandra S. in TX on 4/28/2017 - Verified BuyerAfter weeks of research, I finally decided to buy this WonderMix Mixer! Beats my Kitchen Aid, hands down! The dough is so soft, and rises twice as high! And, it's less than half the cost of the Kitchen Aid.18 out of 18 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Randolph in Virginia on 1/6/2018 - Verified BuyerI found that the blender on the WonderMix did not secure as tight as I would have liked. It does not "lock" into place as most blenders do. For my purposes this was not something I could overlook. When I received the mixer, there was an updated instruction sheet that stated the WonderMix company recommends that the parts of the mixer should be hand washed. This is something I don't have time for. The mixer is well made and is a Bosch design from a 1986-2007 production run so the design is sound - I understand that those models were very desirable. I returned this mixer for the much more expensive Bosch Universal. My criticisms are subjective and may not concern most people so I would say it is a bargain for the price and worth considering. The service I received from Pleasant Hill Grain is just outstanding - this company is a go-to for anybody new to baking and bread making as the staff are very knowledgeable and service oriented, unlike some larger online retailers.13 out of 13 people found this review helpful. By John R. in MD on 1/16/2017 - Verified BuyerMy wife used to make our breads years ago, but with working and volunteering, I decided to give it a go. I'm a very handy fix it guy, who does like to cook, but never really tried making bread. The WonderMill and WonderMix are great. My first time, you would have thought I've been doing it for years. My wife raved about it, so guess who has a new job: ) We haven't even finished the two loaves I made, and I'm already thinking about what I want to try next. Absolutely love these machines13 out of 13 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Brenda M. in TX on 1/15/2018 - Verified BuyerThe Wondermix Mixer did not disappoint. It is wonderful! Mixes really well. Love the bowl construction - easy to clean and I like the handle on the bowl.8 out of 8 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Jean A. in TX on 12/30/2017 - Verified BuyerI decided to buy this machine instead of replacing my worn out bread machine. I don't like non-stick coatings in the bread pans. So far I have been pleased with the results. I like the fact that this machine enables you to skip the first rising step for bread. First two loaves were very good.7 out of 7 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Chef Jack on 11/29/2018 - Verified BuyerI have been working with Nancy Baggett`s book 'Kneadlessly Simple' for 5 years. After acquiring the Wondermix I melded her techniques with a period of long mechanical kneading before the 1st rise. Many tasty results have ensued. The initial mixing of 1 minute is followed by a 30 minute delay for autolyzing. The dough is then Wonder kneaded for 10 minutes. Enjoy!4 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Line T. in QC on 1/27/2018 - Verified BuyerI have the old Bosch MUM6 bought in 1992 and decided to get the WonderMix. Wise decision, now working with a 900 watt tool.4 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Rusty N. in ME on 4/13/2017 - Verified BuyerAppears to be very well made, is easy to use and great price. Can't wait to make bread in it. Will let you know how it does. Will consider 5 star rating after more use.4 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you?
