Their powerful, ultra quiet motors are backed by an exceptional 30 year motor warranty. Designed to deliver consistent results, Magimix food processors excel at both everyday cooking and more ambitious culinary projects.
Designed for versatility, the 5200XL includes three interchangeable bowl sizes to handle a wide range
of tasks. The mini bowl is ideal for finely chopping garlic, blending pesto, preparing baby food, or
mixing salad dressings. The midi bowl excels at slicing and grating fruits, vegetables, cheese, or salami,
while the generous 16 cup main bowl is perfect for larger batches, including kneading dough, puréeing
soups, and mixing cake batters with ease. The bowls are safe for warm liquids, but not for boiling liquids.
The Magimix features Sabatier stainless steel blades, inspired by traditional French cutlery and renowned
for their exceptional sharpness, long-lasting edge retention, and perfectly balanced blade geometry.
These precision blades enhance efficiency and consistency, delivering superior results with every preparation.
Once you experience the performance of Magimix in your kitchen, you may find yourself reaching for other
appliances less often. With the ability to mix, chop, and prepare ingredients quickly and effortlessly,
Magimix becomes an indispensable tool for everyday cooking.

chop, and knead ingredients with precision to suit any recipe. Designed to handle both small and large
quantities, it’s equally ideal for everyday cooking and preparing for dinner parties or special occasions.
The Magimix 5200XL comes generously equipped with an extra large feed tube, three bowl sizes, a knife
blade, BlenderMix, dough blade, egg whisk, slicing discs, grating discs, a spatula, and the citrus juicing
attachment. A range of additional attachments are also available for purchase separately, allowing you
to expand its capabilities even further.
Every Magimix includes a comprehensive instruction and recipe book, along with access to online videos
and a dedicated app designed to help you get the most from your food processor. The Magimix app features
hundreds of inspiring recipes and practical ideas, making it easy to explore new techniques and create
exceptional dishes with confidence.
The main differences between the Magimix 4200XL and 5200XL are bowl capacity and motor power. The 5200XL has a larger main bowl with a 16 cup capacity, compared to the 4200XL’s 14 cup bowl, and a more powerful 1100 watt motor versus 950 watts. This added capacity and power make the 5200XL better suited for larger batches, whether you’re blending bigger volumes, whipping more egg whites, or kneading more dough at one time.
The 4200XL is an excellent choice for households of 1 to 6 people, while the 5200XL comfortably supports meal preparation for 1 to 8 people, making it ideal for larger families or frequent entertaining.

Don't buy Vitamix!!! Get this instead... 30 year warrantee vs 10 year. Stacking bowls are a convenience, blade tray designed for easy access, lots of blade options for versatility, powerful motor. Be sure to have counter space b/c base is too heavy to lift up and down from under the cabinet. I love my Magimix!!!
This was a gift to me, and I love it! Far more machine than I could ever hope for!
Very powerful, east to use and easy to clean.
Have been using Magimix 4200 for over 10 years after owning 2 Cuisinart and there’s no comparison in my experience. Magimix handles chopping, grating, cookies, and 7 1/2 cups of flour for double batch of heavy dough no-knead bread. For a workhorse overall kitchen machine, nothing comes close in my experience. Highly recommend. Did buy a replacement metal blade here for less than anywhere else awhile back.
Multi food processor that is so easy to use and clean!
I’m in love! Very well made, powerful engine, turns nuts into nut butter in seconds! I was in absolute shock. I’m so pleased with my purchase.
Wow, wow, wow. So much stronger than the brands that are continuously popular. I will never go back. It is my first Food Processor for this brand, so far, it's sturdy - it's great. So glad I decided to purchase it.
This is an amazing food processor! Customer service is amazing and the staff superb. An all around great experience.
I think this is the fourth 5200XL I've purchased--one for me and three as gifts.
The reason I purchased the ones as gifts is because I was so impressed with mine. I was afraid that my 36-year-old Japanese Cuisinart--which, in 1988, was top of the line--would finally die on me, especially its bowl (which can't be replaced). Plastics have come a LONG way since then, so I know I need have no concerns on that score. I also wanted more capacity, 16 cups vs. 14 cups. The Sabatier blades/disks are beyond sharp and cut so cleanly that no liquid is expressed. Chop, shred, slice--the 5200 XL doesn't break a sweat. The large capacity allows me to make large batches of hummus, too. And I love having three nesting bowls. I've read of people having problems with the bowls' not being used being splashed but that hasn't been my experience. I especially love the smallest bowl for little jobs--so convenient!
My only complaint is that we don't get color choices, the full range of accessories, or the choice of buying food processors bundled with some of those accessories, e. g. extra disk kits. We don't even have access to replacement storage boxes. They don't seem to realize that they could really expand their market by making more options available to us. Regardless, the customer service reps are really nice--it's good to know that if you have a question or issue, there's someone to talk to.
Did I mention how much I love my 5200XL?
I researched, for quite some time, the best full-size food processor out there. I never expected the Magimix to enter into the equation, but I quickly learned WHY this machine is the best. Yes, Breville is very good, but it can't hold a candle to the Magimix 5200XL. The Magimix is supremely powerful, tastefully styled, and built like a tank. I wanted a food processor that wouldn't brake. In other words, I wanted a machine that is worth the money paid for it. So far, I absolutely love this thing! It is easy to operate, quick to process, and very simple to clean. I've thrown a lot at it, to start, and it's passed with flying colors (and then some).
There's always the possibility of getting a lemon of a machine, but this is true for everything. Mine definitely isn't and I'm glad the warranty will cover any issues that could come up.
I got a great deal on this machine and definitely know it is money WELL spent. The 5200XL is not only the top of the line for Magimix, but also for non-commercial food processors overall. Having watched many review videos, the Magimix came out on top for reason - it IS the original food processor. The one that started it all and the one that takes food processing to another level.
Now all Magimix/LeChef need to do is release the Cook Expert in the United States. Then the Magimix combo will be complete. Nonetheless, I am very happy with my Magimix 5200XL and recommend it highly!
