This is the Food Processor attachment for the Bosch Compact mixer. The knife blade is in the bottom for chopping/mixing. Also 3 slicing/ shredding disks at the top: Reversible thick + thin slicing, Reversible fine + coarse shredding/grating, and potato grating.
Note: This food processor fits the Bosch Compact and Styline mixers. It does not fit the Bosch Universal mixer. The food processor that was made for the Bosch Universal Plus mixer was discontinued by Bosch.

It's nice to have a food processor attachment to my mixer without adding another full kitchen appliance. It works great for small batches.
This is just right for a smaller family or couple. I have the full size which I used while raising a family. Now we need a little less capacity, and this processor more than meets that requirement. Still strong and efficient; just a little smaller.
I wanted a food processor but did not want the large and heavy options that take up a lot of space on the counter. Since I already had the Bosch Styline mixer (which I love), I ordered the food processor attachment. It's lightweight but runs on the amazing power of the Bosch mixer, meeting my needs perfectly. Thanks for the great service Pleasant Hill Grain.
I live alone, so being able to make small batches with my food processor works well for me. It is so much easier to attach this to the mixer than to drag out the old, big, clunky food processor.
Haven't had it long but have already made bread and baked cookies and chopped some nuts. This machine has more than enough power to do any homemakers needs. I do recommend it. Have already done so in fact.
I would love to give this 5 star rating, but it is not easy for me to attach this to the compact Bosch mixer. The processor is amazing and eorks well. Perhaps I am a klutz and can't operate it. I will keep trying to be better about figuring out how to easily attach it.

Imagine no pulse setting!!! Can't just chop anything. Turns all to liquified mush in 1 second! Turning the knob thru 4 settings back and forth to P every time will surely damage the engine and I do love the mixer. By the time you've done all that turning you have a mush.
Food processor is tiny, looks like a toy. The small choppers that come with stick blenders do a far better job with perfect control.
Nice for tall people. Average height can't easily get to the top. You have to dismantle the whole thing, off the mixer, to add more food, not just drop in through tube as with all other food processors. No pusher to guide carrots through straight up. Too much bother altogether.
Way too many ridiculous safety features to set it up and operate each time. So save on liability all they needed to do was print on the box - NOT A SUITABLE TOY FOR A 3-YEAR-OLD.
The disks get clogged up in a flash and food sits at the top.
Never thought I'd be disappointed with this or any German product. Can't get refund because it was delivered several months ago to a friend in the US to save me Canadian taxes and horrendous shipping. She saved postage by bringing it to me when she came up here a few months later. I never dreamt I'd be less than delighted because the mixer is so good. Pleasant Hill won't buy my story, saying it's been too long, so no refund. I won't buy from them again. Complete waste of money as it now sits at the back of the cupboard. If I did FakeBook I'd try selling on MarketPlace.
Bad experience all round!
