Yoder's Canned Bacon
RIDICULOUSLY GREAT CANNED BACON
Canned bacon! We wouldn't blame anyone who raises an eyebrow on first hearing the words "canned bacon."
Our initial reaction was the same. Being open-minded, however, we gave it a try. Then BOTH eyebrows went up... "Wow, this is just AMAZINGLY GOOD!" Each can contains twelve ounces of crisp, flavorful, good-looking bacon. It's fully precooked so you're not paying for what cooks away. It's sold by weight, but the strip-count runs around 60-70 slices per can. It requires no refrigeration before opening, and it's good on the shelf for 10+ years. After opening it's great for ten days in the fridge.
Take our word for how delicious our canned bacon is, or buy the sample single-can and prove it to yourself: This product is so extraordinarily close to the fresh-fried product you'll be amazed. Take it camping, take it to your cabin, take it to your duck blind, or take it along for your commute. Heat it in a pan or microwave or eat it right out of the can at the ball game. Put a case or two in the pantry for all bacon occasions.

"One Sunday we took the bacon up to my husband's parents and WOW that was wonderful bacon! Great flavor. And they have traveled the world sampling many kinds of foods. Your bacon is a hit!." – Carrie Kahus, AZ
"Was I ever impressed! I'm a very picky eater and do all my cooking pretty much from scratch, and the canned bacon exceeded my wildest expectations. It is good, really good, cooked perfectly and man there sure is a lot of it in that can." – Leslie Heulitt, WV
"It has very good flavor, is very meaty and not too salty. We were all impressed by the quality. I placed an order for a case to put away for future needs and some other things. Will be great for camping etc. Thanks." – Jim Vlasak, NE
"Your canned bacon is delicious! I took two cans to Puerto Rico with me on vacation and everyone thought it was great. I microwaved it and it tastes like you just fried it up in a pan. This is a must-buy for every family." – Alice Fanning, OH
"We just received a case of your canned bacon. My wife gave me quite a face when I told her what it was. Anyway, I opened the can almost before the delivery truck was out of the driveway. I unrolled it and was pleasantly surprised to see full strips, not little ones. I threw it in the microwave for 15 seconds and gave some to her. To my surprise, she said 'That's really good.' Now she has some most mornings before going to work, whereas she never took time before. She’s commented more than once about how good and convenient it is. Any time I find a company as good as yours, I'm happy to share my experiences." – James Hansen, TX
"Opened my first can with a group of friends to check it out, and to all our surprise it was some of the best bacon we have had! And from a can! I will buy this again." — Ty W., IN

I was real skeptical when I opened my first can of bacon. This is easy to prepare, either pop it into the microwave for 30 sec. or fry it for just a minute or two on each side. This is good bacon. And I am about as picky as anyone can be.
Unless you are raising your own pigs you cannot go wrong with this canned bacon. If things ever get bad I know we will still have the great taste and pleasant smell of bacon frying in the morning. We made sure our shelves are stocked up with this item and the pork sausage.
Open the can, heat up the skillet, and Bacon perfection in moments. Just have a lot of people or plan on making a lot of bacon dishes/meals within a few days. If the price scares you, think about it, paying to have bacon on a shelf that you know is going to be good when you're in the mood for bacon..... power outage safe is definitely priceless!!!!
Ate the first can right away but just had to store the rest away for future contingencies. Will be back for more soon.
Do the math, it's a great value and the shelf life is what makes this bacon amazing. When SHTF you will want this in your food arsenal!
If you're thinking that there's no way that canned bacon can be as good as bacon that is freshly made, think again. This bacon is full of flavor and is delicious! It's expertly packed so that it contains a lot of bacon - much more than the boxes of precooked bacon that I had been buying at the grocery store and much better flavor.
I had a can of Yoder Bacon from 2008 and decided to compare i's taste to a can I just got in May this year (2020).
Well, basically, there was almost no difference in taste. Yes, there was a tiny tiny difference but nothing that I could point to and say, the 2008 tasted old, just a little different. If you want to say "aged", maybe that would work.
Anyway, they were both great and proved to me that this canned bacon will keep for years and years. Anyway, now I have 2 cans of bacon open and have to figure out how to eat it all... oh, how I suffer LOL
We've ordered several cases of this bacon in the past, and keep coming back for more. No artificial tasting smoke flavor, not too salty, and cooks up crisp (4 min. on 'toast' in our B&D toaster oven and a quick drain on paper towels) and a lot less mess that conventional bacon. The price is equal or better that pre-cooked in the stores, but the taste is much better. Keeps a long time too, without freezing or refrigerating.
Typically on our trips to the boundary waters we plow through our meats in the first day or two. Brats, steak and most importantly, BACON! Ever tried walleye wrapped in bacon....on day five? No, you haven't. Well, not until now. Forty-plus strips, six guys and fish. Yoder's bacon was spot-on. If it looks like bacon, smells like bacon, tastes like bacon, it's not always bacon. Yoder's however was bacon. As an afterthought, we mixed in the leftovers on our smores. Bacon and chocolate. IT's a good thing. Buy the bacon. The end.
It passed the family's taste test... "tastes like bacon". Go figure!
