Wholesome Organic Light Brown Sugar, 24 oz (1.5 lbs)

Wholesome brand organic light brown sugar is made from certified non-GMO ingredients. This light brown sugar is a certified Fair Trade.

This organic light brown sugar is naturally gluten-free and vegan.

The flavor of brown sugar has notes of caramel, toffee, and mild molasses. While white sugar is dry, brown sugar has more moisture, due to the molasses content. Light brown sugar and dark brown sugar are largely interchangeable; dark just intensifies the molasses flavor.

Use brown sugar (either light or dark) when additional moisture is helpful in recipes for softer, chewier, denser results or when you want to impart its stronger flavor to your recipe. Recipes that often call for brown sugar include many cookies, brownies, cakes, quick breads, muffins, BBQ sauces, and meat rubs and marinades.

Thanks PHG, you have great customer service. It wasn't about what you could sell me. It was about what was the right part.
