Great harvesting bag for my peach and apple orchard. Very comfortable to wear with the harness type straps. Would definitely recommend this product to large or small growers.
Great Product! I use it for picking in the garden; as well as the orchard. Straps a little short for 5"11" 4X shirt guy.
Bag is sturdy and will last more than a lifetime. Had to adjust placement of the knots since apples kept falling out of the bottom and knots kept slipping off hooks at first. I picked an entire bushel at one time.
Perfect size. The bag adjusts to size and the material stays clean.
Great product. It distributes weight equally to both shoulders putting less strain on your back. Enjoy picking citrus fruit with it.
This is a well built item. Adjustable for all sized of people. Father-in-law plans to use it for more than picking apples. Only draw back is the instructions. They could use more detail-written or photo would be helpful to get you started.
This was a birthday present for my wife. We'll have to wait until next season to use it, but I think it's a great design. It's going to save us a lot of time and backache.
This bag makes the job of picking apples much easier. Wherever you're standing, whether on the ground or up a ladder, simply drop the apples into the bag while keeping your hands free. A very handy tool to have, especially for the price.
We can wait to try these out this Fall. They are made of heavy duty material. I believe these will make a high difference in harvesting apples. We used to use buckets and after a few up and downs on the ladder, it gets pretty tiresome. I think these picking baskets will be so much better. The only thing I would say it took a few time trying them on to figure the right way to us the straps. There are no good pictures of how to actually wear the picking bag. If you put the straps on correctly, the basket should hang on your chest with the hoop out keeping the basket open to place apples into. If you put the straps on and the picking bag falls forward and hangs down then you do not have it on correctly. Maybe Pleasant Hill can post a picture of how to wear the picking bag correctly.
I haven't been able to use it yet as the apple season was over when I purchased it. I will say I'm sure it was my dumb luck to have the wrong directions for use sent with mine. However it's pretty easy to figure out without them if your luck's the same. I did try it on for size and have it all set up. I am really looking forward to putting it through the paces. The practise run went well. : )
