Wells & Wade Padded Apple Picking Bag/Bucket

This fruit picking bag features strong, sewn-in padded straps. The apple picking container is fully padded to prevent bruising of your fruit due to contact with ladders, branches, etc. If you need longer straps or more room in your bucket, simply adjust the straps and skirt. The draw ropes unhook so you can empty fruit through the bottom of the bag. Capacity of the bag is 42 lbs. of apples.

Straps are too short

With the straps fully extended, this bag will not fit myself or my wife. We are average height/size so I was disappointed when this arrived. The straps are also permanently attached so there is no purchasing replacement straps. This would maybe be sufficient for a child.

Moderator : We did confirm that the units in stock here measure the same, so what you received has the standard range of adjustment. We’re sorry it doesn’t fit as you expected. One solution, in case you’d like to do this, would be to extend the effective length of the straps with one or two inexpensive, lightweight accessory snap-links that are carried at all hardware stores. You should be able to achieve a hang-height as low as you like, that way.
