Wells & Wade Original Fruit Picking Bucket

This Wells & Wade fully padded picking bucket is their original design, and features a full polymer shell for overall rigidity, and full laminated foam liner, including padded bottom. Capacity is 2/3 bushel. Opening measures 11" x 15" and height (with bottom closed) is 11.5". Weight is 5.4 lbs. Includes adjustable 2" cotton strap.

The model in the photos above is 5' 11".

Note: Wells & Wade calls this bucket the "Jumbo", because that's the name it was given a hundred years ago when it was first produced. We've removed the word "Jumbo" from the product name on our site to eliminate confusion about the size, because it's no longer the largest fruit picking bag that Wells & Wade offers. Sorry for my English! We use it to pick apples in a big orchard. The men using it loved it in the small trees. The shape is maybe a little bit to thick when you climb in ladder. If it be more wide opening for big hands full of fruits it will be just perfect! We love the protection of the fruits and it's comfortable too. Very good picking basket.

Solid choice for harvesting apples

Bought this for my friend who is an orchardist and a vegetable farmer. I got the padded bottom because I thought he might be able to pick trellised vegetables like cukes or eggplant into it. This season will be his first opportunity to test it out. Bet it'll do real good.
