Roots & Harvest Beechwood Butter Paddles, Set of 2

The grooved beechwood butter paddles from Roots & Harvest are essential for removing excess whey/buttermilk to form your fresh homemade butter.

One side of the paddles features deep ridges for straining out the extra liquid. You can also use these grooves for creating decorative butter balls, or butter blocks. Using paddles prevents the butter from melting from the heat of your hands. A leather strap on each handle lets you hang and display your butter paddles.

The paddles are also great for making gnocchi, since the ridges the paddles create help the pasta to hold sauce.
