Parsley Leaf, Organic, 1 lb.
Frontier Co-op dried Parsley leaf (petroselinum crispum var. neapolitanum) is an aromatic flowering plant in the Apiaceae family. The plant is indigenous to the Mediterranean region, but can also be found in Europe. It's most commonly used as an ingredient in cooking, but it's also a popular garnish. This dried organic parsley has a bright green color, and a mild flavor that's used to enrich various sauces, soups, vegetables, and more. Add it directly to your favorite dishes!
There are two main types of parsley — the familiar curly leaf and flat leaf. Most suppliers sell the more common, weaker-flavored curly leaf parsley (petroselinum crispum) because it's easier to bottle. We sell only the more robustly flavored flat leaf parsley, which is sometimes called Italian parsley.
Soak in ice water for 5 to 10 minutes to reconstitute.
Suggested uses: Culinary, tea, juices, mixed herbs, salads, salad dressing, sauces, cosmetics, face masks, facial steams, DIY cleaning products, soap

Disappointed with the age of this parsley -- the best before date is only 6 months away and the bag is HUGE! The flavor is already somewhat bland. $29 is a bit high for that.
Update 1/20/24: I left a poor review back in December due to the age of the parsley. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from you right away to set it straight. I appreciate your care and integrity very much, thank you!
