This works very well for stiff doughs where the cookie paddles were not doing the job.

I love this dough hook

I ordered this to replace the dough hook that came with my Bosch because that one can't be put in the dishwasher and the "scraping" part only goes half-way down. This one works great; it gets all the dough and does a better job of mixing IMO. I use it for all my bread and cookie doughs now and I can put this in the dishwasher.

The stainless steel dough hook is an "upgrade" from the original with the plastic extender. The original and extender work okay, but the one-piece stainless steel one is easier to clean and quicker to reassemble. Although it is dishwasher safe, I always hand wash, dry and reassemble my Bosch mixer components immediately after use - ready for next time!

I love this dough hook! The original that came with the mixer was made with some aluminum and didn't hold up well in the dishwasher. It was starting to fall apart. This hook is all one piece and solid stainless. It is holding up well in the dishwasher.
