I had the super ancient version of cookie paddles. They finally shredded apart. May they Rest In Peace. The new versions are sooo much better. They arrived super fast. Love Pleasant Hill forever, they are great. Prices are competitive. My 38 year old Bosch is still a champion.

I've used a Kitchen Aid for over thirty years and have come to the realization that they just aren't the quality they once were. So Santa is bringing me a Bosch this year! Not only the Bosch, but a Bosch mill grinder and blender too! I'm going totally BOSCH and so excited to do so! The reviews I checked out online and the opinions of my co-workers and friends convinced me to try Bosch and I'm SO GLAD they did! I can't wait to jump in and revolutionize my baking! You just can't argue with quality!!! I got some EXCELLENT help with my order too that ultimately saved me big bucks! The blender is back-ordered but the great people at Pleasant Hill Grain have kept me informed as to that status and my blender will be here in plenty of time for Christmas. All in all, this is a great product and a great company! I look forward to another 30 years of FUN baking... okay if I live that long! : D

UPDATE: It's been three months now and I can only add that I haven't been disappointed in my Bosch! In fact I now regularly mix and bake SIX loaves of bread at a time thanks to the size and capacity of the Bosch system! It's GREAT! The mill grinder is excellent! Works like a charm! I have to integrate wheat into our diet a little SLOWER but LOVE my grinder. I am only slightly less impressed with my Bosch blender. It doesn't work quite as well as my old free standing one. The blades spin like crazy but the food doesn't circulate as well. Might just be a size thing. Overall I love my Bosch system!

Customer service is out of this world. They called to confirm an item in my order before I could call them to cancel it.

The product itself had a successful first run, easily handling my usual 1.5kg bread recipe. Have not had the opportunity to try the paddles, whisks, and other accessories yet, but all were well packed in the box and appear ready to go. Can't wait to see how this thing holds up after my Kitchen Aid broke mid-mix (and I mean broke, as in the spinning disk that holds the hook or other attachment broke in half).

There are things to get used to and adjust. For example, adding ingredients, getting the mixed dough out of the bowl, and the efficiency with which this mixer works all require some consideration when working with it as it is new in that it is different from what I am used to. But staying mindful of the task at hand and slowing down the workflow, just a little is not a bad thing, every so often, is it?

the rigid plastic bracket that attaches to the mixer is easily broken. seems like there should be a better way. the scrappers work great, but one of the clips can snap off without seeing and then the whole assembly goes wack-o.
