Restore your cast iron and carbon steel cookware with this natural cast iron seasoning oil. It is ideal for grills, griddles, cast iron pans, woks, etc. To apply, thoroughly rinse and dry cookware, then lightly coat with cast iron oil. Continue this after each use to repair any damage to the seasoning that could have occurred during the cooking or cleaning process.

Formulated from a select blend of pure plant essential oils in a refined coconut oil base, this product contains no mineral oil. Pure essential oil of lemongrass helps eliminate unwanted food odors from the cooking surface.

Unlike other seasoning oils (vegetable or animal-based), this high quality sustainable plant oil resists rancidity and doesn't leave a sticky residue. Using Caron & Doucet's natural oil, your pan’s seasoning will improve with every use!

I HAVE SOFT WATER IN MY HOUSE AND FROM JUST RINSING THE LID, IT SHOWED RUST OR LIGHTEN. THIS CANT BE TRUE CAST IRON.

Moderator : We aren't quite sure how to take your review, but new cast iron will rust if washed and left unprotected. It should be dried well after you wash it, and if treated with the Caron & Doucet oil you purchased, it doesn't rust.
