This gentle soap from Caron & Doucet is formulated to clean cast iron cookware while preserving its seasoning. Unlike traditional detergent soaps on the market, this soap is manufactured using the traditional soap making methods that don't use parabens, phosphates or artificial foaming agents. Soap is lightly scented with 100% pure lemongrass essential oil to help eliminate unwanted food odors.

Apply a teaspoon of soap directly onto cookware and clean with hot water; dry thoroughly. For best results, apply Caron & Doucet cast iron oil after each use to protect and restore seasoning.

It is ideal for grills, griddles, cast iron pans, woks, etc. To apply, thoroughly rinse and dry cookware, then lightly coat with cast iron oil. Continue this after each use to repair any damage to the seasoning that could have occurred during the cooking or cleaning process.

Formulated from a select blend of pure plant essential oils in a refined coconut oil base, this product contains no mineral oil. Pure essential oil of lemongrass helps eliminate unwanted food odors from the cooking surface.
