Bucket Lid Wrench

Don't be afraid of the plastic construction of this handy lid removal tool. We've used them for years here at PHG. They work great and we've never had one break.

Overall length of the tool is 8.25".

Note: Some bucket lids have several points around their lower lip that must be snipped with a cutting tool prior to removal. No matter what sort of tool you use to pry the lid off, if you're working with that sort of lid then it is indeed necessary to snip the lid at those points, first. Such "snip points" vary in appearance and may or may not be marked with words like "Cut Here" or with a scissors symbol. Another type of lid has a circumferential "tear strip" around its bottom edge. With such lids you may not need a lid removal wrench to use after pulling the tear-strip away, but one can be helpful to those with hand weakness due to arthritis or other reasons.

Snappy Grip Handle, Set of 3

An overdue idea! Snappy Grips replace missing bucket handles. Their 1" diameter and finger-grip contoured shape make them so comfortable you'll find yourself removing NEW handles to install Snappy Grips on buckets used for heavy loads. The two halves of each Snappy Grip handle are identical to each other. To install, just position them over the bucket's wire handle so that the tabs of each handle-half fit into the slots of the other half, and squeeze together.

Available in: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, white or black. Each color is sold in a set of thee.

Love the 2 Gallon Size
By Happy Healthy Granny in Idaho on 3/13/2017 Verified Buyer

The product was shipped and delivered in a reasonable time and I LOVE this size. Why, because for this old granny, I can put my flour, baking soda, sugar in and still lift it up and carry in the kitchen. I love the 2 gallon size so I know I will go through my flour in a timely manner before it gets old. And the stack on top of each other is great. Not to big and Not to small and easy to fill up. And don't forget to purchase the Gamma Lid for them! I can put about 13 pounds of flour in this 2 gallon (this is not an exact measurement) but I put 2 5lbs bags of flour and some have so room for more. If you buy the 13 pound+ bag of Baking Soda from Costco it will fill it up close to the top. Hope this helps!

These buckets fit perfectly in a pantry closet.
By Bill H. in CA on 2/18/2017 Verified Buyer

We have stored grain in 5 gallon buckets, always keep a year's worth on hand, only 5 gallon buckets do not fit in the pantry closet. Now we store grain in 2 gallon buckets, which fit perfectly. These are well made and work really well with the gamma seal lids. Also, Pleasant Hill Grain's prices were the same as buying the buckets and lids in bulk from a wholesaler.

Smaller Buckets
By Frances J. in TX on 5/19/2016 Verified Buyer

For those like me who don't use 40 lbs of grain or beans within a couple of weeks or months these are perfect. I can seal the smaller buckets and have the product stay fresh for an extended period of time. They also work as storage for my multiple vacuum sealed bags of dried fruits, veggies, or herbs. Like your product.

Great Product
By Tami W. in TX on 4/12/2016 Verified Buyer

The combination of the 2 Gallon Bucket with the Gamma Seal Lid is optimal. The product is heavy duty construction; offers an air tight seal as well as easy open/close mechanism. Also, is a good size for handling and stacking and has simply proven to be effective for long term storage and frequent use.

Best Option for This Size
By Ann H. in VA on 9/05/2018 Verified Buyer

Here's a warning: the 2 gallon buckets at Home Depot, which although from specs appear to be the right size for the gamma lids sold here, do not fit. These at Pleasant Hill Grain fit perfectly. We are aging, and needing to have smaller quantities of our extensive food storage available on the same floor as our kitchen. Plus we have had problems with pantry moths, so need containers that keep them out of our foodstuff. This combination works perfectly for limited space and our now limited muscle power. Wish we had ordered them in the first place. Shipping was very fast, packaging done well to prevent damage. As usual, customer service was excellent. We are always happy with our Pleasant Hill Grain purchases, from years of experience.

Perfect Size
By Elew on 7/24/2018 Verified Buyer

We are full time RV dwellers and keep our bulk grain in a storage shed. These 2 gal buckets with the gamma lids are Perfect for keeping our daily grains here with us. Space and weight are a premium in an RV, but these are perfect! Rodents can also be an issue in an RV, with the open area under us and hoses and lines for them to climb up... All food needs to be kept in smell proof/chew proof containers so as not to invite the critters in in the winter. Again, these are Perfect! We will be getting a few more...
