Campbell's Bench Scraper/Dough Knife
The Campbell Dough Knife is coated with a specially developed PTFE nonstick coating for a superior release of wet dough. Campbell Macfarlane, the creator of the RM2020 brick bread oven, designed this bench scraper that he uses when baking bread.
The dough knife is available with "CDK" or "PHG" laser cut into the scraper. The letters "CDK" stand for "Campbell's Dough Knife" and the letters "PHG" stand for "Pleasant Hill Grain". The CDK knives are charcoal gray and the PHG knives are deep green. Choose an option from the dropdown menu above.
Note: The 6" Campbell Dough Knife is included with the RackMaster RM2020 Oven.

I received the Campbell’s bench knife I ordered yesterday and used it today making a loaf of sourdough. The stick resistant coating sure made the shaping much easier. Can’t wait to do more baking.
I have been searching for this dough knife for over a year. This is to be a gift for my son who has wanted one, too. It works better than any other dough knife. Love it!
This is what I used in a sourdough bread class. Then I went home with new knowledge and my old Amazon metal bench scraper. I immediately tried to order this, and it was out of stock for 3 months!!! Now it’s mine and I use it exclusively. Feels like an extension of your hand and dough doesn’t stick to it. I bought one for my daughter too!
This is the best bench Scraper/Dough knife I've ever owned. Dough doesn't stick to it. I bought it for making sourdough bread and it makes shaping so much easier. Went back to purchase another and they were sold out. I know why. Will definitely purchase another when in stock again!

I ordered the bench scraper/dough knife in the 8 inch length because I needed something larger to handle my sourdough loaves. It is the perfect size, and I appreciate that the quality will last for decades!
This is the best bench knife ever. I have the 6” and am planning on ordering myself the 8” soon for my bigger sourdough loaves. I just bought the 8” as a Christmas gift for my son. This bench knife is wonderful- it doesn’t stick to high hydration loaves like others do, it’s easy to handle, and a breeze to clean. Definitely worth the money.
I waited many months for this product to become available, and the product was worth the wait because I really like this bench knife. It has a great feel in your hand, nice weight, texture, and stiffness and the dough doesn’t stick to it!
The only problem is that I would like to purchase more for gifts, but they are already out of stock. I would also like to have the 6” knife, but I’ve never seen it in stock. I contacted the manufacturer, and these products are only available in the US through Pleasant Hill Grain, who have done a good job keeping the website up-to-date as to product availability…just please stock up on these so we can get our hands on them (literally!).
i had been looking for this dough scraper after i saw it on a couple of videos - but only one video mentioned the name on the videos and no one had it on their links. when i discovered the name, i found it on PHG. they had it in stock so i grabbed it up! not only did i grab this one, but i grabbed the PHG dough scraper, too. both are incredible dough knives and serve multiple functions in my kitchen. my other dough knives only get used if these are too long (i bought the 8" scrapers, but will probably buy the 6 inchers as well and do away with my other metal bench scrapers - the bendable one will always maintain its spot in my kitchen).
