The beautiful hand painted Raised Floral Butter Bell® Crock was the first Butter Bell style introduced, and continues to be a favorite. Decorated with a delicate hand painted raised floral pattern, it brings the color vibrance of spring flowers to the table. 4" tall x 4" wide, it holds a full stick (1/2 cup) of butter. Features "Butter" on one side and "Beurre" (French for butter) on the other side.

Butter left open on the countertop won't keep long... and when refrigerated it tears nasty holes in your bread. Happily, there's a third way—the Butter Bell® butter keeper. What butter needs to remain fresh isn't cold temperature, but protection from the oxygen in air. Using a forgotten, centuries-old technique, the Butter Bell keeps your butter soft and fresh right on the counter for up to a month!

Just pour an inch of water in the base, pack the porcelain ceramic butter crock with butter, and invert it in the base. The water seals out air, keeping your butter soft, sweet & fresh for up to 30 days. If you're anything like us, you might be thinking something along the lines of "Fresh butter on the counter... for weeks... oh sure..." Yep, we were skeptical too. But we tried it... and it works wonderfully!
