The Cowbell Butter Bell® crock features a design made famous by Holstein cows worldwide. A classic look that pays tribute to the benefactors of butter, this new Butter Bell has become an instant classic! This Holstein inspired crock is made of durable new bone china and measures 4” x 4”. Holds a full stick (1/2 cup) of butter.

Butter left open on the countertop won't keep long... and when refrigerated it tears nasty holes in your bread. Happily, there's a third way—the Butter Bell® butter keeper. What butter needs to remain fresh isn't cold temperature, but protection from the oxygen in air. Using a forgotten, centuries-old technique, the Butter Bell keeps your butter soft and fresh right on the counter for up to a month!

Just pour an inch of water in the base, pack the porcelain ceramic butter crock with butter, and invert it in the base. The water seals out air, keeping your butter soft, sweet & fresh for up to 30 days. If you're anything like us, you might be thinking something along the lines of "Fresh butter on the counter... for weeks... oh sure..." Yep, we were skeptical too. But we tried it... and it works wonderfully!

The butter bell is awesome. I put my butter in it and it is so spreadable. You canâ€™t believe that something could keep butter fresh and yet so spreadable. I just love mine.

Butter stays soft and fresh. A few water droplets get on the butter when crock is completely full but with no noticeable impact on spreadability or taste. Easy to dump out and replace water after every few days when using.
