These gaskets fit Universal Plus, Universal Classic, Concept, Compact and Styline blenders having metal blade assembly hubs. The blade assembly hub is the cone-shaped part which the blades and blade shaft are mounted in.
Gaskets are black or white.

The accessory Blender Blade Wrench helps you to easily remove the blade from your Bosch blender for the Universal Plus or Classic mixer, L'Equip RPM blender, or Bosch Compact mixer's blender. This Blade Wrench is not included as standard equipment with any blender, and it does not work on the L'Equip vacuum blender for Bosch Universal mixers.
Both Bosch and L'Equip recommend cleaning their blenders without removing the blade assembly: Just add a couple drops of dish soap to 2 cups of warm water, run on high for 30-60 seconds, rinse and you're done!
It is recommended that you remove your blender's blade assembly only if repair or maintenance is required, such as gasket replacement, after years of use.
If you do need to remove your blade assembly and find that it's stuck tight, this wrench (and maybe a second person to hold the blender carafe) should do the job. It grips the lugs that protrude from the blade assembly base below the bottom of the blender; it does not grip the blades themselves, which is not necessary to remove the blade assembly.
All blade assemblies use a standard-direction thread, so you turn counter-clockwise to remove. Only a partial turn is required, then the blade assembly pulls straight out. Before replacing, spread a drop of vegetable oil on the gasket and re-seat the assembly by tightening very firmly by hand. The Blender Blade Wrench should not normally be used for reinstalling the blade assembly. It can be used for reinstalling if your hand strength isn't otherwise sufficient, but be careful not to overtighten with the wrench.
Some blade assemblies require a tipping motion during removal and reinsertion, to navigate one blade tip around the lip of the carafe's bottom opening.
Note: For Bosch blenders, the blender lid is designed to do double duty as a blade removal "wrench". However, with its stronger means of attachment and long-handled leverage, this accessory Blender Blade Wrench is much more effective for blade assemblies that are stuck tight.

Our old blender gasket was leaking. We replaced it with one of these. It is working great now with no leaks.
So happy to find parts for our older Bosch. We thought the gasket was leaking so we bought a pair, but it turned out the blender base was cracked. Ordered a new blender the next day. Gaskets are top quality and we now have two spares which we'll probably never need.
I like Pleasant Hill Grain for the great info and explanations they provide for their products.
I had the older white gaskets that were larger and less flexible. Due to the largeness of the white gaskets it has always been difficult to get the the blade to the blender jar. With this new one, it goes on easily. After attaching it for the first time, I tested to see if it would leak, and it did. So I adjusted how the gasket was seated, and it works great!
After 25 years the original gasket in my Bosch blender started leaking badly. This new one has a good tight fit, and has resolved the problem. I am very happy with the new gaskets.
Response was quick to my order. I appreciated the instructions for extending the life of this item which never accompanied the original item.

The ones I got were black, and the picture shows white, but it really doesn't make a difference because they fit well!
