IMPORTANT ABOUT BOSCH UNIVERSAL MODELS:
Before ordering anything from this page, please be sure you're ordering for the model of mixer that you own. (Check photos at top of page.) Parts on this page are for the Bosch Universal "Classic" mixer. (If you have the newer "Universal Plus” model of Bosch mixer, you need to click here instead.) Parts for these two mixer lines look very similar, but many are not interchangeable. Read the next paragraph about two different types of Classic-model mixer bowls and their parts.
IMPORTANT ABOUT CLASSIC-MODEL BOWLS:
During the years that the Classic style of Bosch Universal mixer was sold, two types of bowls were made: an older, “tabs outside” style, and a newer, “tabs inside” style. To identify which bowl you have, look at the tabs at the top of the bowl (the tabs that the splash ring locks onto). If those tabs are outside the lip of the bowl, you have the older style bowl. If the tabs are inside the lip of the bowl, you have the newer style bowl. Read the next paragraph about parts availability for these two bowl types.
Parts are no longer available for the older (tabs outside) style Bosch Universal mixer bowl. If you want to replace old style bowl parts, you will need to update to the newer style of bowl by ordering a newer style bowl shell, and also a new spur gear, splash ring, and lid. The dough hook from your old style bowl WILL fit the new bowl, so if your old dough hook is okay, you don't have to replace it. Your old drive shaft, old whips, and old whip-drive also will work with the new bowl.
COMPLETE ACCESSORIES:
If you want complete accessories for your older Bosch Universal mixer (MUM6622 or MUM6610 or UM3), some are still available: Click here.
REPAIR OR REPLACE?
Above: New Universal Plus mixer and the MX3 blender that's made for this "Plus" mixer.
If you need parts for an older Bosch mixer, now could be the time to consider replacing your mixer instead. Even the most beloved old Bosch mixer deserves retirement someday! (Or maybe reassignment to a child or friend as their starter Bosch?) Now that the Universal Plus mixer is available, many of our customers are finding that the new Bosch is a value too good to turn down. Any accessories you have for your older Universal will fit right onto the Universal Plus. Read about the many excellent updates offered by the new Bosch Universal Plus.
Univ. Bowl with Spur Gear Only: Click for product.
Bowl Shell with Spur Gear only (Item 11-UNBA1): Please read the Bowl Assembly Note below, first. We recommend buying these parts together rather than trying to separate your old spur gear from your old bowl to re-use either one. Assembly is required.
Also... most old spur gears have slots that facilitate removal of the drive shaft. (In the photo, the slots are the "elongated" parts of the small hole at the top of the center column). But if your old spur gear is different from the one shown here, having NO slots for the drive shaft cross pin to slide through for removal, then you have three options regarding the drive shaft assembly. Option #1 is that you can order a whole new drive shaft assembly below on this page. Option #2 is that you can remove the small cross-pin at the very top of the shaft with the proper size of punch (not real easy to do unless you have a well-equipped shop) and replace it with a new cross pin (also available below.) Option #3 is to demolish the old spur gear with a large hammer (and maybe chisel), taking eye-protection precautions and being careful not to damage the drive shaft in the process. By demolishing the spur gear in this way, you can then remove the drive shaft for re-use. No matter which approach you take, be sure tools are used on your machine only by persons who are qualified to use them safely.
Bowl Assembly Note: To disassemble the spur gear (see image above) from the bowl shell requires removal of screws at the top/inside of the bowl column. Over the years Bosch has used more than one type of screw head in this spot. We have no way to know which type of screws your bowl might have, and to remove them you will need a screwdriver with an extra long shaft and the proper sort of tip. Removal can be further complicated by corrosion of screw heads and threads from long-term exposure to moisture. For these reasons, we highly recommend buying #UNBA1 (above) if you want bowl shell and spur gear pre-assembled and ready for attachment of the shaft drive assembly.

ER1 bowl complete: Click for product.
This Original-Style Stainless Steel Bowl (model MUZ6ER1) uses a special dough hook that drives from the bottom of the bowl. This bowl comes with its own dough hook, which does an outstanding job of kneading. The bottom-drive design provides a little extra dough capacity because there is no center column as in the standard bowl. Capacity is 6.5 quarts (approx. 15 lbs. of dough). This stainless bowl also includes splash ring and center cover. The bowl fits on the Bosch Universal Mixer's low speed drive (the same place the standard plastic bowl mounts.) Whips, whisks and cookie paddles cannot be used with this bowl because it's built without the center drive column. The bottom drive shaft pops out of its socket with a smack from the palm of your hand, for easy cleaning. Putting a drop of vegetable oil on the O-rings after washing will make them last a long time.
Note: To use this bowl on the Universal Plus, you'll need to use some small rubber bumpers to prevent wobble ( see here.)The SB4 bowl with non-locking mount that fit the Bosch Universal and Bosch Classic mixers is discontinued. Some parts for the SB4 bowl are available below.
The Stainless Steel Bowl (MUZ6SB4) for the Bosch Universal mixer has a polypropylene center drive shaft column, enabling the Universal's standard wire whisks and BreadMaster dough hook (as well as the accessory cookie paddles) to be used in it. Capacity is 5.5 quarts (approx. 12.5 lbs. of dough.) This bowl is sold without dough hook, whip drive or whisks, and those pieces from the Universal mixer's standard plastic bowl (new or older models) fit onto this bowl. This bowl fits on the Universal mixer's low speed drive (the same place the standard plastic bowl mounts.) The drive shaft detaches in seconds from below for quick, easy cleanup.

Dough Hook Extender for Bosch Universal: Click for product.
The new Dough Hook Extender accessory for the Bosch Universal mixer is placed under the dough hook and fits snugly against it. The extender sweeps the center column, allowing as little as one to two loaves of bread to be perfectly kneaded. It fits the Universal Plus and also fits older models of the Bosch Universal mixer.
Bowl Scraper for Bosch Universal: Click for product.
This new L'Equip accessory automates bowl scraping by operating continuously while the mixer runs. It snaps easily over the top of the whip drive piece (it works with either the metal or the plastic whip drive.) It can be used in conjunction with the cookie paddles, the wire whips, or the batter whisks. One arm scrapes the bowl shaft, the other scrapes the bowl side. Comes with two sets of scraper blades. FDA compliant (food safe) & BPA free. The Bowl Scraper works with the newer Universal Plus mixer as well as the older Bosch "Classic" mixer from earlier years. Full one year warranty from L'Equip.

1. Metal Whip Drive for Universal/U-Plus: Click for product.
2. Repl. Wire Whips, Pair (Univ./Concept): Click for product.
3. Batter Whisks, Pair (Univ./Concept): Click for product.
Note: Bosch recommends using the new Cookie Paddle accessory (further down on this page) for mixing non-pourable batters. The Wire Whips and Batter Whisks are not warranted against breaking or bending because the Bosch motor is strong enough to easily bend them in heavier materials.
Cookie Paddles, pair: Click for product.
Cookie Paddles: Bosch recommends using the wire whips and batter whisks (which are shown above) for pourable batters. Heavier cookie batters can be mixed with your Universal dough hook, but now you have the ideal option: The cookie paddles for the Bosch Universal mixer, manufactured by the U.S. Bosch importer! These snap onto the metal whip drive piece—that's the oval-cone shaped part that fits down onto the top of the bowl's center shaft, which has two axle pins that point downward into the bowl. The cookie paddles are warranted against defect by the manufacturer for 1 year. This is a very useful accessory, highly recommended! (NOTE: If you have the newer "Universal Plus" model of mixer with the white colored whip drive, you will need to purchase the set of paddles that's packaged with a metal drive to use them on. You can see that package here.)
"Quantity 1" for this item means one pair of paddles, and does not include the metal whip drive they attach to.
Cake Paddles, Pair: Click for product.
These new cake paddles attach to the metal whip drive of the Bosch Universal Plus (or older style Bosch Classic) mixer, for use when making cake and quick bread batter as well as other pourable batters and frosting. They let you make better cake because they avoid incorporating too much air into the batter.
If your Bosch mixer has a metal whip drive, these cake paddles will snap right onto it. If you have an older mixer with a plastic whip drive, you will need to instead order the cake paddles together with a metal whip drive, directly below.
Cake Paddles with Metal Whip Drive: Click for product.
These are the same cake paddles as shown above, but with the metal whip drive included. If you have an older mixer with a plastic whip drive, you will need to order the cake paddles together with a metal whip drive.
Univ. Protective Cover: Click for product.
This fits on the Universal mixer base (not onto the blender) to cover the blender drive or the bowl drive when one or the other is not in use.

Knob for Universal Classic Mixer: (Discontinued by Bosch)
This is the knob for the Universal mixer. It does NOT include the electric switch inside the mixer.

Note: Before ordering disks, be certain whether you have the "Food Processor" attachment or the "Slicer Shredder" attachment. The "Food Processor" has 5-cup capacity and mounts on the high-speed drive shaft of the Universal (the same place where the blender fits onto.) The "Slicer Shredder" has 12-cup capacity and mounts on the low-speed drive shaft of the Universal mixer (the same drive that the large dough-mixing bowl fits onto.) Disks shown here are for the "Food Processor" only.
Another distinguishing feature between the "Slicer Shredder" and the "Food Processor" is that the bottom-running blade shown above (item labeled "3") will NOT fit into the "Slicer Shredder" attachment.
If you need disks for the "Slicer Shredder" attachment, click here.
Please exercise caution when handling these parts... the cutting edges are VERY sharp!
Notes about disks:
Item #5, the Grating Disk, is for fine shredding.Item #6, the Slicing Disk, is reversible for thick and thin slicing.
Item #7, the Reversible Grating Disk, is reversible for medium and coarse shredding.

4. Bldr Gaskets (qty. 2) (Metal Univ/Conc/Comp)—see note below: Click for product.
These gaskets fit Universal blenders having metal blade assembly hubs. The blade assembly hub is the cone-shaped part which the blades and blade shaft are mounted in. If your blender blade assembly hub is plastic instead, then see the gaskets listed immediately below. Note: Orders consisting of gaskets-only Note: Orders consisting of gaskets-only ship by First Class U.S. Mail for $3.99 shipping/handling.
5. Blndr Gaskets (qty. 2) for Plastic-Base Univ.—see note below: Click for product.
These gaskets fit Universal blenders having plastic blade assembly hubs. The blade assembly hub is the cone-shaped part which the blades and blade shaft are mounted in. (If your blender blade assembly hub is metal instead, then see the gaskets listed immediately above.) After installing new gasket on your blade assembly, to reinstall the blade assembly in the carafe, hold the blender carafe straight upright while looking downward through the carafe and inserting the blade assembly into the base of the carafe. This technique will help prevent the the blender from being knocked out of position during reinstallation. Note: Orders consisting of gaskets-only ship by First Class U.S. Mail for $3.99 shipping/handling.
6. Metal Blade Assy for Univ Blender (includes a gasket): Click for product.
6. Plastic Blade Assy for Univ Blender: Click for product.
7. Univ. Blender/Proc. Drive Coupling—see note below: Click for product.
This is the white plastic part on the underside of the blender. In use, it connects to the High Speed Drive on the mixer. Note: If you need a new one of these, be sure to carefully inspect your "High Speed Drive" (it's the next item listed, below)... because usually if your Blender Drive Coupling goes out, the resultant slippage also ruins the High Speed Drive.

Univ. High Speed Drive: Click for product.
The High Speed Drive: This is the piece that drives the blender. It's pictured both on and off the mixer. Your old one can be pulled off with a pliers, and the new one will press onto the shaft by hand. Be sure to align the flat parts of its socket with the flat parts of the shaft, and push hard so it goes on all the way. If you need a new one of these, be sure to inspect your "Blender Drive Coupling" (it's the item listed just above)... because the most common cause of failure of the High Speed Drive is deterioration of the Blender Drive Coupling. You'll ruin your new High Speed Drive if you put a blender on it that has a bad Blender Drive Coupling, and Bosch doesn't warrant the HSD against abuse of that nature.
Complete Food & Meat Grinder: Click for product.

Univ. Meat Grinder Short Leg: Click for product.
Since the introduction of the newer Universal Plus mixer, the meat grinder comes packaged with a support leg sized for the new Universal Plus mixer. If you have an older style mixer, the included leg will NOT work for you (it's too long) so you need to ALSO order this "shorter leg."
When you purchase the Meat Grinder attachment for the Bosch Universal mixer, a four-bladed knife is included. Additional blades are available in either four-blade or two-blade configuration. The two-bladed knife makes larger chunks than the four-bladed knife.
