Since the introduction of the newer Universal Plus mixer, the Bosch meat grinder comes packaged with a support leg sized for the new Universal Plus mixer. If you have an older style mixer, the included leg will NOT work for you (it's too long) so you need to ALSO order this "shorter leg."

Short Legged Grinder

I was very pleased with the service when I recently ordered a leg for the grinder that I purchased a couple of years ago. When I ordered it I was told that it was the correct grinder of the Universal Bosch. That is what I purchased 40+ years ago. it comes with the long leg and that is not correct for my mixer. The web site now is very clear but it was not then. It was very easy to see how to get the correct one now. It came promptly and was easy to install. But I now have a long leg that i guess I just throw away!!!! We are way too much of a throw away society. At least I will finally be able to use the grinder.
