Zojirushi's Fresh Brew makes coffee fast, is easy to use, and brews at an optimal temperature of 200°F. The Fresh Brew is durable too... this coffee maker will deliver consistent results of rich coffee with each waking morning, every afternoon coffee break, and evening dessert.

Zojirushi's stainless-carafe Fresh Brew coffee machine makes either hot or iced coffee. Brew up to ten cups of delicious coffee at an optimal temperature of 200°F, or make up to four cups of refreshing iced coffee concentrate. The pre-infusion cycle evenly wets coffee grounds before brewing, allowing them to bloom for perfect flavors and aroma. The iced coffee water measure lines adjust the water-to-coffee ratio for stronger coffee that doesn't taste watered down when drip-brewed directly over ice.

The Zo Fresh Brew Plus is vacuum insulated to keep your coffee hot for hours (24 hours after brewing, coffee is still 125°F hot) and because it isn't sitting on a heating element constantly, flavor stays fresh instead of becoming bitter and stale. Brushed stainless steel construction is lightweight and its micro-brushed luster won't show fingerprints.

The carafe handle is comfortable, and the thumb-activated pouring makes serving smooth and easy. The Zojirushi Fresh Brew Plus prevents coffee drips when the carafe is removed while the coffee is still brewing—so you can snag a cup of fresh coffee before all of it is brewed! The lid stays firmly in place during brewing and pouring.

An optional timer function will prepare your coffee ahead and have it ready for you when you're ready for it. The clock provides a constant time display, and a sight gauge offers an easy view of the water level. The Fresh Brew Plus uses a basket-type paper coffee filter. The cup capacity of this coffee maker is measured in 5-6 ounce cups. The water tank capacity is 53 fl. oz.

Clean and fill the water tank with ease by simply removing it. The Zojirushi Fresh Brew Plus even alerts you when cleaning is recommended. The easy-access swing basket and filter basket lift out for simple cleanup.

I actually don't drink coffee but I am the researcher in the family. I also have an airbnb in my home so I have guests that like coffee. I was looking for a coffee pot that had a timer, one that you didn't have to pour water into (it always seems to spill), one that was easy to set, and one that you didn't have to buy filters for. This coffee fit the bill plus more. I really like the carafe that keeps the coffee hot and this will be nice for my airbnb guests, plus my husband likes that feature. He also likes the idea that it has the feature where you can make a pot of coffee faster. I also like that it makes cold coffee drinks as my daughter likes to drink those. Even though she doesn't live with us any more, it's always nice to have your kids stop by, and she appreciated our coffee pot being able to make the cold drinks.

Both of these models which we love are the ones that brew into a thermal carafe... the ONLY way to brew and keep your coffee....no heating element means no burnt coffee. Very pleased.
