Chain size not “most modern bikes”

The product description says “The chains of most modern bicycles will fit the sprocket” which really isn’t all that helpful- maybe a bit misleading. I have many different “modern bicycles” none of the chains work with the provided sprocket. I have 1/2x 3/32 chain that all of my modern bicycles use sitting on a shelf that I planned on using- sprocket is too wide for use w/ 3/32 chain. Wish the description gave an accurate/precise chain size so that I could have been prepared. Correct chain size is 1/2x1/8 (or larger width). Seems like there maybe was a product change and maybe that’s why the product that was delivered is different from pictures. Other than that it works great

Would have payed for the assembly complete so that I don't have to search for a bike and modify it. Hope you can offer that option in the near future. I know it may be asking to much but I think a basic pedal system already known to work is good THANKS!!

Well built

This is a very sturdy, well built unit. The packaging is extremely poor and it has an offensive odor, making storage in the original packaging impossible. That said, all the pieces/parts were included and all arrived intact.

I tried this product using rice and the stone milling wheels. It was definitely labor intensive and quite a work out. It might have been that the stones were new and in the process of taking a set, as it did seem to get easier after about an hour. Or it might have been that I was expecting something else. If ease of the grind is what you're looking for, buy an electric unit. If you're off grid and/or looking for prepping equipment, this one fits the bill. Eventually I did get a nice, fine grind on the rice, to rival store bought rice flour. Since we're gluten free I won't be able to test it on wheat, barley, etc. Maybe cracked corn, though. I did purchase the sprocket to adapt it to bicycle power and the belt wheel for using an electric motor.

Pleasant Hill Grain, Wow fast delivery, This sprocket drive really speeds the milling. Glad they offer it. Heavy duty in nature and came with tool to help remove the handle, if needed.
