The Ascent X Series is Vitamix’s premium blender line. The new X series combines an intuitive interface with a sophisticated, timeless look. It’s the best in blending, with features implemented from customer feedback on previous models, and updated for the modern kitchen.
The Ascent X2 features a 48-ounce carafe, an automatic Self-Cleaning Program, and thee Blending Programs
(Smoothies, Frozen Desserts, and Soups). Add Self-Detect® containers and attachments to build a customized
blending system designed to fit your needs. When the base is paired with a Self-Detect® container
its wireless connectivity automatically adjusts the settings and blend speed according to the container
being used.
The variable speed control and pulse feature allow you to manually fine-tune the texture of any recipe. A digital timer adds convenience so you can multi-task in the kitchen as your blender operates.
With its 48-ounce blending carafe, the X2 is sized just right for small to medium-size recipes and at
17 inches, the blender easily fits under kitchen cabinets. The carafe is made of BPA-free Eastman Tritan®
co-polyester and is dishwasher safe.
The blades are a single laser-cut piece of hardened stainless steel for lasting sharpness and thorough blending. The blade assembly of the Vitamix X2 features ball bearings that outlast common bushings and are sealed to prevent food and liquid penetration. Vitamix blenders last up to 10x longer than an average blender, which is why they're considered heirloom quality.
With the X2 you'll prepare foods faster, easier, and with more flavor. Take strawberries, for example.
When strawberries are blended at Vitamix speed, they aren’t just puréed. At that speed, when the seeds
and individual cells hit the blades, they literally explode, releasing more flavor and more nutrients.
Sauces made in your X2 blender will actually taste better and offer more vitamins than those made in
other blenders. And the same goes for herbs, which release their greatest flavors when freshly &
finely ground... nothing will do it better than a Vitamix X2 blender.
The lid with a pour hole allows you to safely add ingredients while blending and the included tamper helps the blending process. The Ascent X Series also features an adjustable tamper holder that can attach to either side of the blender base.
The X2 can blend both hot soups and frozen recipes! The blades reach speeds fast enough to create friction heat that can bring ingredients to steaming hot temperatures in 4-6 minutes. The blades can also quickly crush and blend ice and frozen ingredients before enough friction heat is created to melt the mixture.
Vitamix blenders are built with a high-efficiency motors equipped with a radial cooling fans and have a built-in thermal protection system to prevent overload and motor burnout.
After blending most types of ingredients, just put in 2 drops of dish soap with 5 cups warm water and
run on high for 30-60 seconds: The powerful Vitamix Ascent X2 cleans itself. You don't even need to remove
the blades!

Its' petite size is made for easy storage in most cabinets. Vitamix's new self-detect technology will automatically detect the different carafe and adjust settings accordingly for the size! The included tamper is specially designed to push ingredients towards the blades for an even blend. The removable lid plug allows you to add ingredients while blending. Ascent series carafes are easy to clean, just add some warm water and a drop of soap, then blend for 35 seconds! The carafe and lid are also dishwasher safe in case your carafe is in need of a deeper clean.
