This two-piece steel burr set replaces the burrs in the Family Grain Mill.

These burrs also replace the burrs in the following mixer-attachment grain mills offered by Pleasant Hill Grain:

The original burr set that comes with each of these mills provides most users with several years' use, but it's easier to have the spares on hand than to order them later. Replaceability of burrs is one of several key advantages these grain mills have over the multitude of cheap throw-away mills on the market.

These are genuine OEM burrs, made by the original manufacturer. They're made of high carbon steel for long life, and they're manufactured to unusually close fit-tolerances for superior milling performance.

Durable burr set, great grind!

I've had my grain mill for a little over a year and this burr set is wonderful! Most of the time, I only grind once, for a coarser grind, but these guys will produce a fairly fine grind with a second pass. I bake a lot of bread -- about 8 loaves per week, and this burr set is still going strong (the Family Grain Mill is pretty awesome, too! ).

This is the first replacement set we have purchased after 8 years of using our manual FGM grain grinder. It started to take longer to grind so a new burr set was in order. The oat flaker lasted about the same amount of time. Both pieces of equipment got moderate use a few times a week since 2010. We are very pleased with the performance and ease of use.
