I received a call from Michelle the next morning that the splash ring with the plastic bowl I have would not fit the stainless. She helped me order the one that fits and double checked the rest of my order for a replacement cap for the blender, and a meat grinder attachment with short leg. My old splash ring was made out of PMMA or acrylic. That material crazes or gets many fine cracks. The new material is SAN or styrene acrylonitrile, which is a much better choice and should last much longer.
