Expanded Ratings Descriptions
|R1||Very close scrutiny is required to tell that the item isn’t brand new. Working surfaces may show slight wear; for example, the bottom-inside of a Bosch mixer bowl may show swirl marks because Bosch mixer whips are designed to “float” against bottom of bowl. Non-working surfaces (cabinet, control panel) look essentially new. Carton may not be perfect.|
|R2||Typically has a small scuff or mark on a non-working surface like a mixer cabinet or the top of a pressure cooker lid.|
|FR||Mostly returned items which have been brought fully up to new-equipment performance specs at the factory.|
|D||Demonstration items have been operated briefly at Pleasant Hill Grain.|
|DIS||These items have never been used but we no longer sell them at full price in our store because it was discontinued by us or by the manufacturer.|
|U||Has had light use.|
|SDB||Has moderate damage or blemish on a non-working surface, such as a scratch or dent in the housing, or paint blemish.|
|NOS||A brand new item that isn't the newest model.|

By Cherie S. on 1/17/2019 - Verified BuyerThis compact motor is lightweight and easy to grab off the shelf to attach any of the great attachments available for this unit. I use it daily to grate cheese or vegetables, grind wheat. I can grind meat and flake oats with other attachments as well.3 out of 3 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By Deborah B. in MI on 4/11/2016 - Verified BuyerWe are so glad we added the motor after several years of hand grinding. Works great!2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you?
By B. H. in CA on 4/9/2020 - Verified BuyerI bought a manual grain mill last fall. Because of the amount of time and effort it takes to grind grains, it wasn't used very often. The motor with the mill attached now occupies a small area of my kitchen counter and is used much more frequently. I'm glad I made the purchase.1 person found this review helpful. Did you?
By OldGrouch in AR on 9/14/2019 - Verified BuyerFinally broke down and bought the motor base after 10 plus years of using the hand crank base. Always thought the motor base was overpriced.... it's not... should have bought it years ago....1 person found this review helpful. Did you?
By Karen L. in NE on 9/4/2018 - Verified BuyerWe had to replace the motor on our 6 year old grain mill. Was relieved to be able to do that since we have the flour attachment and the oatmeal attachment. Use it all the time. Love it. Service was fast.1 person found this review helpful. Did you?
By Amy C. in SC on 4/9/2018 - Verified BuyerWe just purchased our second motor- the first lasted 7 years. I thought we could just get by using the hand crank for flaking, but the motor is so much easier! I can work on other things while it flakes or grinds!1 person found this review helpful. Did you?
By Susan W. in WI on 8/1/2017 - Verified BuyerThis is a very good machine and is great for a home use mill. We mill quite a bit of flour during the summer for sale at farmers markets so we use it constantly. For the high end use that we put it through it lasted about 4 years but for smaller qty's than us it should last the general home user longer.1 person found this review helpful. Did you?
By Michael K. in QC on 11/22/2016 - Verified BuyerWe use it almost daily for the flaker and grind 6-7 cups of grains per week. Works beautifully. We are now on our second motor, but didn't hesitate to buy the same again. It served us very well many years.Was this review helpful to you?
