Meadows Steel Burr Mill
The Meadows steel burr mill features large, wear-resistant steel alloy burrs for rapid and efficient grinding of a wide range of dry or wet materials. It's built in the U.S.A. and features industry-leading graphite flange shaft-support bearings for superior longevity and trouble free use. It grinds 7 lbs/minute of whole wheat flour or 8 lbs/minute of corn meal, as well as a wide array of other materials including grains like wheat, corn, oats, barley and spelt and nuts such as peanuts, cashews, almonds, walnuts and pecans.
“Other machines couldn't handle our wet oats but the Meadows grinder works great! It's easy to use and we get exactly the texture we need. It's needed no maintenance, and as solidly built as it is I have no doubt it'll last us for many years. We're extremely happy with the mill.”
– Jim B., FL
An easy-adjusting knob provides infinite adjustment from medium-fine to extremely coarse or anywhere between, so you can quickly select the texture you want.
The burrs never require dressing and their steel alloy composition is long-wearing. Replacement, when required, takes just ten minutes. The mill housing is high strength steel with a non-toxic enamel finish. The one bushel hopper is built entirely of stainless steel.
Most mills can grind only dry, flowable materials. This mill can grind dry, wet or oily materials because its burrs are non-porous and because it has an internal feed auger that forces nonflowable materials into the burrs. The mill inlet at the bottom measures over 2.5" x 5".

By Brian F., KY on 5/27/2016 - Verified BuyerWe process fibrous leaves and stems and we like the consistent output particle size we get with the Meadows mill. As a key part of our processing operation it works very well and saves time over previous methods. It's easy to use and cleans out with compressed air. The bulk of our raw product requires us to use another machine for initial size reduction, but we're very pleased with the Meadows mill as part of our two-stage process.1 person found this review helpful.
