The LEM Big Bite meat grinders make big jobs easy and stand up to hard use. The gear drive of the #8 LEM meat grinder features all steel gears (no plastic) and roller, not sleeve, bearings. The headstock is rifled for an easier second grind and stuffing. The throat is offset and is 2". A built-in circuit breaker protects the motor from overload damage.
LEM meat grinders feature stainless steel headstock, screw, grinder plates, blade and meat tray for long life and easy maintenance. The stainless steel motor enclosure features a comfortable handle, and the meat tray is large and made of heavy gauge metal.
The feed augers of LEM meat grinders have a proprietary Big Bite design that lets them grab meat chunks easily, saving you from having to force meat into the machine. ETL-Sanitary Certified to NSF Standards.

The LEM automatic burger patty maker for LEM Big Bite grinders forms patties that measure 4" diameter and 3/4" thick. The attachment fits LEM #8, #12, #22 and #32 electric grinders. Use LEM freezer sheets to prevent the patties from sticking together.
To use, attach the auto patty maker to an LEM Big Bite meat grinder and turn the grinder on. The patty will form automatically. When the first patty cup is filled, slide the tray to the side and the formed patty will drop out to your work surface while a second patty forms in the adjacent patty cup.

The LEM Juicer/Tomato Strainer attachment for Big Bite meat grinders makes juices, purees, baby food, jams, and jellies. The LEM juicer attachment for the Big Bite grinders features a durable stainless steel head and screen, and its rubber plug and graduated holes maximize juice extraction. Juice extracts into one bowl while the seeds and peels drop into a separate bowl. A pan and stomper are included. Easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning.

This foot switch can be used to turn your meat grinder (or other machines) on and off, allowing operator free use of hands. Especially useful when stuffing sausage. Ruggedly constructed for long life with full steel housing, nonskid base pad, and textured traction pad. Comes with 8' cord and 3 prong series-plug, prewired. Just plug it in and go (the plug on the end of the foot switch's cord is inserted into 110 volt wall receptacle, then the meat grinder plug is piggybacked into the footswitch plug. So no wiring is required). Switch is momentary type, meaning that power is supplied to meat grinder cord while pedal is held down and power is cut off when pedal is released. Rated 15 amps maximum. This switch has proven its durability with years of trouble-free service.
Three sizes available: 1/2" (12mm), 1" (25mm) and 1-3/8" (35mm) outside diameter. The inside diameter measurements are: 3/8" (10mm), 3/4" (19mm) and 1-1/4" (32mm). Tubes are HD plastic and have very little taper. Use the 1-3/8" tube to fill fibrous casings and old fashioned middles. The 1" tube is great for filling hog casing or 32mm collagen. Use the 1/2" tube for snack sticks and breakfast sausage. 1/2" tube will also fit 17mm casings.
We also offer a 2 inch aluminum tube.
LEM 2" aluminum stuffing tubes fit the LEM Big Bite grinders. Note this is the inside diameter measurement. The outside diameter measures 2-1/4" (57mm).
Stainless Steel Meat Grinder Plates (reversible).
Note: A knife and plate develop a mated wear pattern as they operate together (same as a piston in an engine cylinder sleeve), so it's important to always keep them together as a set. When you reverse the plate to start using the new side, you should use a new knife. Using an unmatched knife/plate set will cause bad performance, rapid wear and possibly breakage. So you will normally want to have two blades for every plate.
LEM makes their grinder knives with the highest standards for hardness and quality that are hard to find elsewhere. Made of stainless steel, each knife lasts longer than carbon and is resistant to rust.

Works great! It's fast grinding meat and is easy to clean. I just LOVE it.
I'm very impressed with this grinder. It's heavy duty, grinds the meat very quickly, easy to assemble and clean, and quieter than I expected (because I had read a review that said it was loud--my old, plastic type grinder was much louder than this). It's slightly heavy but what do you expect for stainless steel construction. I would recommend this to anyone... now after 6 months, and using it several times, it is still awesome. Thank you for such a good product.
The grinding head weighs about as much as my entire previous grinder. Much more powerful and grinds fast.
The unit works amazing and cleans up very well.
To each their own. Had a 150 lb wild sow on ice waiting on my new grinder. Followed the directions and ran through the 3/8 grinder plate. Not a snag. Took me a half hour to prepare the meat for the grinder and just a few minutes to grind. Put the ground meat in the freezer for about a half hour to run through the 1/8 inch grinder. Meanwhile I was defrosting a couple of pounds of hog fat and about 10 lbs of cubed meat that had been in the freezer since my last grinder failed. When it was half thawed I ran it through without a glitch. Then took out the 3/8 ground meat to run through. This went a little slower. Once the meat is ground you have to use the tamper to feed the auger. In my case I won't use the 3/8 again but go right to the 1/8 plate. The cubes I had in the freezer came out perfect. And I just put in some cut fat at the same time. I was also concerned that the #8 would be too small, but not the case. Quick and strong. Finally, the best feature according to my wife is it's super quiet! She couldn't carry on a conversation with my old grinder, but she had no difficulty giving me advice with this whisper quiet grinder.
I ran two full deer through with out any issues.
I made a purchase of a meat grinder for my son. It was a Christmas gift and sent to his house in another state. The company called me not realizing it was back ordered to let me know it may not get there before Christmas. They apologized and said they weren't sure but they will do everything they could to get a Terri for Christmas. And yes it did arrive before Christmas, four days before. Great customer service.
