Kuhn Rikon UL/SI Valve 1565

UL/SI Valve #1565 fits all models. This part measures about 3/4" in diameter at its widest point. The blue parts are silicone rubber. To replace, just push old valve out of the lid by pushing from the top side of the lid, and press the new valve into the hole from the underside of the lid so that the spring is visible on the bottom side of lid. This valve typically needs to be replaced only when steam starts to escape through it during normal cooking, causing pressure loss.
