After inheriting an older Kuhn Rikon pressure cooker of unknown age and unknown usage history, I found it wasn’t working properly. I was cleaning it thoroughly with the help of the internet and decided I needed to change out some parts. I found Pleasant Hill Grain while surfing for those parts. Not being an experienced pressure cooker user, I called in to confirm the parts I was ordering. The staff person I spoke to was so helpful... and non judgemental to this cooker newbie.
The parts I received were perfect, high quality and just what I needed!

After the red lines faded on the pressure indicator I stopped using my pressure cooker because I couldn't see when it got up to the correct pressure. So after being told by Amazon that a replacement couldn't be shipped to Alaska (huh?!) and Kuhn Rikon was out of stock, I ordered it from Pleasant Hill Grain. It was cheaper and the postage was minimal, even to Alaska. The replacement part arrived quickly and I'm happy!
I bought this part for my Kuhn-Rikon pressure cooker. Pleasant Hill carries genuine parts (Swiss-made, in this case), so I don't worry about cheap knockoffs. As well, their C/S is very responsive and helpful; I was traveling, and had to have the ShipTo address updated at the last minute, and they handled it perfectly!
Ordered pressure indicator w/spring, received it in a timely manner, installed it and am back to cooking.
My Kuhn Rikon pressure cooker stopped working. I found all the parts I needed on the Pleasant Hill Grain website. Received them in a few days and installed. Works perfectly again!
Not sure how this broke but it would no longer hold together tight. Solved.
The part was perfect. Fit exactly as it should. Worked exactly as it is supposed to.
