80% of flavor is really aroma: To get the most aroma from spices and seeds it's best, by far, to grind them fresh. That's easy with these grinders equipped with the original CrushGrind ceramic mechanism that's sharper and stronger than steel. The Kuhn Rikon Mini Vase Grinder works equally well for grinding pepper, herbs or seeds—one grinder does it all! Granulated salt rolls off many foods—but the finely ground salt from the Kuhn Rikon Vase Grinder sticks right where you want it.
