Hinged Lid for Square Bucket

After it's initially installed, the lid is completely air tight and water tight, having a rubber gasket. Later, when you're ready to break the seal (by tearing away the lower skirt of the front lid section), the lid hinges open. The lid has molded-in latches to hold it open, and also has a clip-over latch that holds it securely in the closed position. After the initial seal is broken, the lid (when in the closed position) is close-fitting, but is no longer air or water tight. The closeness of the fit is such that if held upside down with some water inside, the water will come out in a fast trickle. We have tested the lid's hinge to over 1000 open/close cycles. Made of food-safe virgin polypropylene and polyethylene.

Finally, a lid I can open and close and actually reuse without a hammer and chisel... very reasonably priced and shipping was fast too! But it is the product that is most important to me and it is excellent. I highly recommend these lids.

Square Storage Bucket Lids

I really love square shaped buckets. They stack so nicely and save space. I bought a number of sets and wanted extra lids for some long term storage items. These lids fit my older square buckets perfectly. The hinged lids make them so much easier to open and close as opposed to the round lids. If you've ever tried to open a lid on the round storage buckets you will know what I mean. You need a tool (and muscles) to pry them open and that usually results in a misshapen lid. These lids open and close easily and securely without having to demolish them and you don't need to remove the entire lid. I'm so glad I changed over to square shaped buckets and lids. Finally, a lid I can open and close and actually reuse without a hammer and chisel. I should probably mention that they were very reasonably priced and shipping was fast too! But it is the product that is most important to me and it is excellent. I highly recommend these lids.

As described. The quality appears to be good; however, they don't fit square buckets. Approximately. 25" to short on 1 side. I will keep the though; someday myself, or someone I know will have buckets they'll fit on.
