To use the Haussler Round Dough Divider, set up to 8.8 pounds of dough in the ring portion, and press it with the the flat side of the dough divider until it fills the ring. Turn the divider over and press it into the dough to cut twenty equal portions of dough. The divider and ring are handmade in Germany of sturdy stainless steel.

Admittedly, this is a splurge and isn't essential, but...

It is handy and a time saver. I scale a single piece of dough at 3800 grams. Use the divider and combine the resulting 190gr pieces into single 380 gr pieces and preshape into my baguettes and in a matter of seconds have 10 ready to rest for a few minutes before final shaping.

I'd buy it again.
