What a great spatula. Sponge Bob would be envious!

The reinforcement in the spatula along with the flexibility in the edge makes all the difference. I bought two so we can keep one in the motor home. We used nylon Hutzler spatulas for years but my wife is bad about leaving them resting in the skillet which is tough on the edge. Not so with these silicone models. We are very pleased with how easy they clean up too. Buy a couple yourself. You will be sold on them too.

Finally, a silicone spatula that really works and will keep your eggs and bacon from sliding off when you least expect it--like onto the counter top when trying to carefully get them to your plate! It kind of starts your day off poorly when you have to clean up egg yolks at a most inopportune time! This GIR ultimate silicone flip is much more heat resistant than any I’ve had yet is soft enough that your non-stick pans (or all your pans for that matter) are safe from scratches or gouges. It also works excellently as a “squeegee” when scraping out a bowl of whatever ingredient you are adding to the pan. It is a soft but firm utensil that is very much at home around the stove. It thoroughly scrapes out a pan to the point of zero residue left in the pan, meaning less food or oil to contaminate the dishwater, making cleanup a breeze. It is the perfectly designed and most useful flip/spatula out there.

3-Month Update: This spatula is a fantastic squeegee in that it's soft leading edge is yet firm enough to actually scrape the residue from the pan after frying in a non-stick or stainless fry pan. No, burned on stuff will have to be scraped off but simple stuff squeegees right off. This is a high quality stove utensil that is very handy and amazing to use.
