I got this scale mainly for sourdough baking but also because it will weigh up to 15 lbs. I have used it for weighing fruit for fruitcake and to weigh produce. I use the grams setting for my baking and sometimes it will flip between two readings. This doesn't seem to effect my bread quality. I haven't used other scales to know if there's a more accurate scale, but if you want a highly accurate reading, you may want to keep looking. For me, this one is doing what I need.
